I am as anti amnesty as you, and suspect XZINS is as well. It is important Not to exaggerate the records and statements of Walker and Perry just to give Cruz a boost, as he hasn’t focused on this issue nearly as much as he should have either. It’s most important we not do the things that the ex poster pissant did when he couldn’t stop people from choosing Palin as their favorite.

Then we have a disagreement on this issue, since I am not exaggerating anyone's record on this issue and I have only posted their records.
Perry has an extensive record of Open-Border/Pro-Amnesty behavior as I posted up thread. Walker only let his guard down once, but it was extremely telling.
I don't doubt that both of you are as Anti-Amnesty as I am.
However, be careful that you completely vet, in your own mind, each of the candidates on this issue.
GWB downplayed this in the primaries leading to the 2000 election. And look how bad he was on this issue.
Perry, given the proof I have posted up-thread, is just as bad.
Read through that post Lakeshark and see if you don't agree.
I believe that Walker is just as bad on this issue as well given his statements in the youtube I have posted regularly, but there is not much proof otherwise. On most other things, with the exception of soft-peddling social issues and opting for the false solution of States Rights where gay marriage is concerned, he is great. But those two things in combination with his weakness on the Amnesty issue is telling.
