Not only a jerk, but he’s also apparently an idiot.

“...states should not be defining the “sanctity” of marriage.”

So what’s a state doing when it passes “gay marriage” laws? Isn’t that state determining what is and is not a marriage, i.e. what is a sanctified union so to speak? And, what about all the other possible combinations of loving adults that are not blessed by the state? Why arbitrary limit marriage to two people? Is that not the state picking and choosing which “marriages” to count?

What about a bisexual? Why can’t they marry both a man and a woman? Isn’t it bigoted to say a homosexual gets to marry who he’s attracted to, but a bisexual has to pick just one? How dare a state “sanctify” some loves but not others?

Once you open this “gay marriage” door, marriage basically becomes completely arbitrary. It is what we say it is—ignoring the obvious biological, natural union that has existed since the dawn of man. That union is unique in that no other grouping can unite two to become one.
