Russia’s Defence Ministry dismissed accusations on Monday that pro-Russia separatists in Ukraine’s east were at fault for shooting down a Malaysia Airlines jet last week, alleging instead that Ukrainian warplanes had been flying close to the plane.
The ministry also denied accusations that Russia had supplied the separatists with SA-11 Buk anti-aircraft missile systems – which are known as “Gadfly” in NATO – or “any other weapons.”
“Russian air space control systems detected a Ukrainian Air Force plane, presumably an SU-25 (fighter jet), scrambling in the direction of the Malaysian Boeing,” Lieutenant-General Igor Makushev of Russia’s Air Forces told a news briefing. “The distance of the SU-25 plane from the Boeing was from 3 to 5 kilometres (2 to 3 miles).”
The ministry’s comments came as the Netherlands announced that prosecutors had opened an investigation into the crash of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17, which claimed the lives of all 298 people on board, 193 of whom were Dutch citizens

But keep in mind that the rebels claimed they shot it down. The missile system is obviously more sophisticated than a ragtag, put-upon bunch of rebels would have. Putin provided it to his proxies. Now, the problem here is we have people mindlessly in love with the thug Putin. They believe whatever he says. They complain about Obama, but actually should be happy with him since his weakness enables Putin.
Before we get too immersed in the false-flag nonsense, I’ll remind you that this latest Russian version of events (claiming that there was a Ukrainian fighter in the area) tacitly admits that the separatists fired the missile.
We’re reaching a point where I wonder very much whether this is a pro-freedom, pro-conservative website, or whether it’s an outlet for risible pro-Putin propaganda.

As well Sky news reporters...who actually were filming and ‘rooting through suitcases and personal items’ themselves.
The area was pretty much trashed just in the crash impact itself.....with items scattered all over.
It's understandable why the Anti_KIev fighters were on site....if it had happened further south you can bet Ukraine/Kiev would have been there as well...or in Russia the Russians would have been there. MAking issue of the Anti_Kiev fighters being there is simply a waste of time.
The videos I've seen of the fighters shows they were co-operative.....the delay was because OSCE'S first visit was to corridor the area off and take a visual only. They left the site in order to set things up ......people forget that not only was this in the country area, and not easily accessible, but there was still fighting going on. It took time for the word to get out and firing to stop.
Further there was time needed for International Groups to get there and set up.

You do know that we know that 3 Russian BUK systems entered Donetsk a few days before the shootdown from Russia and have now returned to Russia.

How do you know it was 4 days? Anyway, what are you worried about? If Putin was behind it, the truth after investigation will indict him.
