[Bill Gates] questions whether the members of Congress who don't pass laws like he wants on immigration are honoring their duty to the 300 million Americans that we collectively represent. I feel a deep duty to the millions of Alabamians I represent and the whole country, and I do my best every day to ask whats in their interest. And as far as Im concerned
those three billionaires [Gates, Buffett, Adelson] have three votes. The individual who works stocking the shelves at the grocery store, the barber, the doctor, the lawyer, the cleaners operator, [and] the person who picks up our garbage are every bit as valuable as they are. So I know who I represent. I represent citizens of the United States of America
They are determined to wipe out the middle class. They hate paying high wages to American techies and long to replace them with Pakistani or Indian lesser trained obedient serfs
Very good point.
Sen Jeff Sessions of Alabama is an American treasure
AGREED
Aren’t 12,000 of those 18,000 “Americans” at Nokia, and mostly in Finland? Just fact checking.
That is exactly the goal
Jeff Sessions!”PERFECTO”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amen! They only want to exploit the lower and middle class for protit! Sick Bas____s.
they’re also trying to wipe out entrepreneurship. Many big technology jumps come from guys building something in their garage, or students in their dormrooms.
Now that the most recent generation of those innovators/entrepreneurs have “arrived” their goal is to undermine the next generation, which poses a threat to them.
Look at that jacka** CEO from Tesla who is trying to get rid of patents. He’s actually on the record as saying that if someone has a good idea they should just go work for a big company ...
12,000 at nokia and roughly 5,500 at MS proper
His point is still valid.
The Pacific Northwest is swarming with guest workers and their extended families. Feels like a third world country. Thanks, Bill Gates. /s
What I find interesting is that socialist businessmen seem to think they should run a business just like Marx said Capitalist straw men do.
In short, free trade burns down the system by reducing wages to starvation levels, then the revolution can start.
While i agree with Mr Sessions the fact is Bill Gates has nothing to do with layoffs at IBM since he is no longer working there. I prefer our side to be correct and not hysterical and making stuff up like they do on the left.
I heard it on the radio. 18000 layoffs at Microsoft
It’s not plausible that Bill Gates has no influence at Microsoft, or that he doesn’t want them to use every trick in the book to maintain or increase their stock price.
Great job, as usual, by Sessions.
One of the few members of the Upper Salon who hasn’t been bought off by Obummer’s 1% millionaire and billionaire buddies.
i didn’t say the layoffs weren’t occurring.
The vast majority of the jobs lost will be in other countries. It is the Nokia employees, primarily.

And why isn’t it plausible? He owns less than 4% of the stock now. Maybe its just not plausible you know what you’re talking about?
