We still couldn’t have a president like Obama if we didn’t have the electorate to put him there.

We couldn't have a president like Obama if we did not have the institutionalized voter fraud that put him there.

Obama would be nearly powerless if it weren’t for decades of leftists building up white guilt and political correctness to the level that it is anathema to voice any criticism of black culture or a black person.

Among other bad comments, Tamny omits the fact that a leftist like Obama was elected in the first place. He is eager to dismiss ideas that the electorate has taken a decidedly leftist turn. If all the leftist profs. and teachers in academia have had no effect on the thinking of students, how did someone like Comrade Barack ever get elected?
He wouldn't have had a chance fifty years ago. George McGovern was a WWII war hero and against an unpopular war, and he got stomped in 1972. Because forty years ago the American electorate knew a leftist when they saw one, and most adult Americans didn't like leftists. Now they see a leftist like Obama, and they elect him president.
