The Republican National Committee should censure the committeeman from Mississippi, Henry Barbour, and perhaps request (although not demand) his resignation from the RNC. Barbours apparent involvement with nakedly race-baiting ads and robocalls during the GOP senatorial primary runoff in his state, and his prevarications afterwards both in public and in e-mails to other committee members, merit an official public shaming.
To be clear about exactly what in Barbours conduct does and doesnt deserve a rebuke, and to take care of some housekeeping with regard to journalistic ethics, please forgive a bit of personal backstory.

Barbour is a liar. That simple.
It’s all commg from his uncle Haley. Boot him as well.
I am not convinced Cochran can win in November. Conservatives feel so alienated the stench might be more than holding their nose can cover. Additionally, if Cochran doesn’t debate his dimocrat opponent the issue of his dementia will be raised. Of course, if he does debate his dementia will be on very public display. Yep, Barbour might very well have cost the republicans a safe seat.
I will go one step further. For Mitch McConnell and the other RINOs who gave many thousands of dollars to smear myself and others supporting McDaniel as “racist,” we MUST encourage active voting against these disgusting examples of human flesh. This includes directly funding their Democratic challengers.
While I understand the desire by some to “speak silently” by simply staying home to not vote for their RINO representative, or, simply vote third party for that particular race, these ‘absent’ votes do half the damage to the offender than does an actual vote for their competitor.
Votes, as well as direct funding of their Democrat challengers, will take this fight to their throats, where it belongs.

Only to point this out...but six years ago...Cochran was already showing some signs of slowness and dementia. They had five years to think about this and find another candidate that could be run at the state-level. They refused to consider the idea.
The only two scenarios being played out? Either Cochran is supposed to lose against the Democrat (with this mess orchestrated), or Cochran is supposed to walk in...pretend to be a Senator for twelve months....then allow the Governor to pick someone (himself maybe) to replace Cochran as he retires.
Tate Reeves is the Lt-Governor, and mostly an unknown guy except he’s been a budget and resources guy in politics for the past ten years. I doubt if more than ten percent of Miss residents know the guy’s name and background. Maybe Governor Bryant goes onto DC, and Reeves serves out the governor’s spot until elections in November of 2016. It’s hard to imagine this whole thing orchestrated....just to ensure each guy gets a little bump up because they are mostly unknown at the state level.
I do believe you are right though...Cochran is too “lost” and won’t be able to debate. He’ll just run on ad’s and maybe three speeches.
For most residents of the state....it all smells bad. You might want to have an independent to vote for...but it’d just screw up the November election and end up with twenty-five percent of the public voting for the 3rd guy, and the Republican/Democrat parties splitting 75-percent of the vote. Another election, and then you get stuck having to vote Democrat...just to send Cochran home (a pretty lousy situation to be in).
The just punishment will be the defeat of Cochran. Maybe then they will realize that what they did was wrong.
HIT THEM WHERE IT HURTS.
Any news?

When is it going to sink in? THE REPUBLICAN PARTY DOES NOT WANT CONSERVATIVES.
It is true that the cure (losing the Senate) may be worse than the medicine(revolt at the polls). It may also be the end of one-party rule.
Pardon my correction:
Does anyone know how to PING Mssissippi?
henry and austin just doing what uncle haley tells them.
I cannot vote for a democrat and will not vote for Cochran. I will “write in” McDaniel. tate reeves lies and thinks we’re (Conservatives) are stupid so he’ll probably get the nod. I believe the plan this year was for thad to retire and his replacement would go into the primary as the incumbent which would give him an advantage but thad waited too long and Senator McDaniel announced early and started rising in the polls and then it was too late. So TPTB “the powers that be” in Mississippi pulled out all stops to protect one of haley’s two personally owned Senate seats in Mississippi that apparently are nothing more than a subsidiary of the BGR lobbying firm.
“hang their heads in shame”
“Shame”, is that a town in South Mississippi?
They have 10 more days to file. I believe they have enough evidence now but they keep gathering more. You can never have enough guns or too much ammunition.
I cannot vote for a democrat and will not vote for Cochran. I will write in McDaniel.

Unless Chris mounts a write-in campaign that will have the votes “counted” then that is a waste of time; you may as well just stay home. That will do nothing but help Cochran. If you want to punish Cochran and the entire GOPe, then vote for the Democrat and hand Cochran a severe defeat. The Dem, Travis Childers, is a Conservative Democrat. He is Pro-Life and Pro-Second Amendment. If all of Chris’ supporters voted for Childers, plus 100,000 Mississippi Democrats, you put a knife in the heart of Cochcran, the Barbours and the GOPe.
I’ll ping them duffee.
MISSISSIPPI Ping!!!
