my kid says it’s not all AKs, just AKs produced by a certain Russkie company, the ones from Romania et al are still fine
Those muzzie dudes in Iraq are now using OUR weapons do do their annihilation....and no one says boo.
Wow, that will bring them to their knees.
Eff you, soetoro.
the Izhmash and Izhevsk guns
This is wrong.
They banned imports of new AK’s made in Russia.
You cannot buy or sell AK’s from that company. If you own you AKs outright, it is legal to own and sell them. If you receive a shipment of them from Russia and you owe the manufacturer on them, then they are banned.
Ask type weapons are produced just about everywhere. Non Russian arms are legal and importable.
Bet the remaining stocks fly off the shelves at absurd prices. Might be a good time to stock up on Wolf ammo if they ban that, too.
Trial balloon, if he can ban one gun, why not all?
I can’t decide who is really behind that plane that was downed. Obama or Putin. Either is quite capable of such an act.
If you do not think the Obama admin is capable then look to the cold callous and evil plan being carried on at the border. Absolutely no regard for human life couched in “caring”.
Let’s not knee-jerk with misinformation and rumor.
My Romanian AK (Century International) is sturdy, reliable/never jams on Wolf ammo or any ammo. It is accurate and the price was right. It’s a fine piece.
I believe it may have been gun writer Patrick Sweeney who said that if John Wayne were alive today, his weapon of choice would be an AK.
Because the WASR has a stamped receiver, it is lighter, the receiver cools faster and it is cheaper to make.
President Gungrabber has no authority to suspend 2nd amendment rights against Russian weapons, although that hasn’t stopped him in trespassing against the Bill of Rights in many other ways.
The Romanians make a fine, utilitarian weapon, even if it is roughly milled. You can go without cleaning it, run over it with your truck, throw it in the truck bed, drop the mags in mud puddles—and it still works.
Suggesting that it is some kind of “Saturday night assault weapon,” well, your snobbery isn’t helpful to the critical matter of fighting this most recent infringement by our figurehead, gayboy tyrant on our 2nd amendment rights.
Be clear on the timeline. This article is correct.
Much of the press would have you believe the sanctions are a result of the MH17 attack. Quite the opposite.
This is not a “strong response” to the murders of innocents. We shouldn’t be asking if this response is enough.
The better question... Was the missile action a response to sanctions announced the day before? They clearly got the wrong plane, but was their intent a big F you to western interference?
If so... it should change our impression of the action and more clearly center the decision point back to Moscow.
