The acquisition of Army parts or items acquired outside of normal supply transactions, and stored away for later bartering or trading without any record of it's existence. An example would be Able Company trades a bottle of bourbon to Baker Company for a Jeep driver's seat. No normal supply records are exchanged.
Who is the tall, dark stranger there?
Maverick is the name.
Ridin’ the trail to who knows where,
Luck is his companion,
Gamblin’ is his game.
Smooth as the handle on a gun.
Maverick is the name.
Wild as the wind in Oregon,
Blowin’ up a canyon,
Easier to tame.
Riverboat, ring your bell,
Fare thee well, Annabel.
Luck is the lady that he loves the best.
Natchez to New Orleans
Livin on jacks and queens
Maverick is a legend of the west.

Maverick, Rockford, etc. RIP.
Has everyone forgotten his widely reported gratuitous remarks about how dumb he thought President Ronald Reagan was?
—not a fan
Garner was also a lifelong Democrat who supported all liberal causes. He once refused to play a part unless they changed the character from a Republican to a Democrat.
I don’t see what his military service has to do with his political views.
Why then did he support Tom Sellick in his role on Rockford?
or his friendship with Clint Eastwood.
I think the less you know about an artist the better. I was a big Jane Fonda and Ed Ames fan until I learned of their politics. Now I wouldn’t see anything they do unless you pay me....
Garner’s role in Murphy’s Romance might some up his politics....then again who knows.
36hrs was a great movie, I own it and forgot all about it. Great WW2 flick remade with Corben benson
I was going to post that but decided to read through hoping someone would. Didn’t they do three of those movies? They were hilarious. Harry Morgan, Suzanne Pleshette, and so many other big names were in those.
I didn’t agree with his politics but he was a great actor.
I think Klinger of M.A.S.H. became one of those in the show.
