A Malaysian passenger airliner with 295 people on board crashed in Ukraine near the Russian border, Interfax cited an aviation industry source as saying on Thursday.

I don’t think anyone would seriously think Putin would fly his personal jet over Ukraine.

Some lady named Raddatz on abc mentioned that it was most likely an accident, right after she suggested that the US wouldnt put boots on the ground.
Girkin (aka Strelkov) already boasted about shooting down a Ukrainian aircraft, until they realized they had shot down the Malaysian MH17 instead. Now they’re trying to scrub the Internet to coverup their previous boasting about shooting down the aircraft.
Well that’s an interesting development. Why is the question.

Isn’t that kind of severe for Girkin/Strlkov to attempt in reprisal for not getting Putin’s armed support any earlier?
37 minutes apart seems an eternity in flight time. IANAP.
The video of it hitting the ground, taken from a long ways off, does not indicate any kind of fire on board or smoke trail. It just hit the ground. One expert is saying it looks like it hit under some kind of control.
I’m beginning to wonder if this airline doesn’t have a bunch of suicide pilots flying for them.

These are not western countries. They do not hold to western ideals. They have rich cultures, but also a very violent history. Nobody rising to the top in these countries is going to have clean hands. Putin may not be some kind of ideal, but he is far better to the people of Russia than 99% of his predecessors, and 99.99% of the people who would replace him. This is not “lighting candles”. This is just viewing the world as it is, not some fairy tale version of it.
If the Anti-Kiev forces took it out...they wouldn’t be able to scrub the net from that information.
