Once again, Palin is the one to lead us.

Everyone, even the “Good” conservatives are too scared to do what is right.

Even, very sad to say, and would vote for in a heartbeat, Ted Cruz is against impeachment.

TIME magazine is cherry picking words.

VP Cheney probably thinks conviction and indictment
might be more appropriate ... like 80% of Americans.

Article 4, Section 4 of the US Constitution states that the federal government is to defend states from foreign invasion.

Obama is leading a foreign invasion.

What does he have to do to deserve impeachment/arrest?

Call for a tax cut?

Pubbies are afraid that Blacks won’t vote for them and will call them names if the GOP starts impeachment proceedings against Obama.

What they fail to notice is that Blacks aren’t voting for them and are calling them names already.

Allahpundit/Hot Air always seems to get his jollies running endless stories in which the “GOP” distances itself from something Palin might say. Yet (for years) also always avoids making ANY post about Palin having given speeches or writing columns attacking things like the corrupt professional political class and the dangers of crony capitalism.

Trying to impeach him would prove GOP has no brain.

Accomplishes nothing except take every other issue - all of which hurt Obama - Border, IRS, Immigration, Economy, International Crisis after crisis... off the table.

He is impeaching himself (and his party) every day with his arrogance and incompetence. Why distract from that??

He is not getting anything substantive done in the last 2 years anyways and - what our primary focus should be - if we get the Senate, we can shut him down from more damage. More important, we can control the judicial appointments as the possibility of a Supreme Court opening before January 2017 is pretty large.

Some congressman, I don’t recall which, said a week or so ago that he thought the GOP “votes were there” to impeach Obama. I knew that was a load of hot steaming crap.

Osama Obama has,in fact, committed a hundred (or more) "high crimes and misdemeanors" while in office and surely *deserves* to be removed from office. However,we all know that the Senate,as constituted now or after next January, will *never* convict. We also can reasonably assume that an effort to impeach will cause his approval numbers to skyrocket,as was the case with BillyBob.The best strategy is to investigate and publicize, let his approval numbers nosedive even further, and let the Rat nominee in '16 (and Rat candidates for the House and Senate) try to defend his treasonous record.

Having absolutely no conscience we know Osama Obama will never resign so,short of intervention by SCOTUS (and maybe not even then),we can't stop his Imperial Orders. But that doesn't mean that the nation's bleeding can't be stopped in January 2017.

All of these Republicans, from Cheney to Rove to Cruz, have calculated the odds and determined that more is to be lost by jumping on the impeachment bandwagon than gained.

Palin sees it differently. Could this be the start of a departure from the R party?

As I say often, if you don’t have a plan to take control of the GOP money and influence, you’re going to end up with a choice of Jeb, Christie, Romney, or whoever the party elite decide is going to receive their support. Either get control of the GOP or start a 3rd party and be prepared to work like hell to make it strong enough to win elections.

Note that not a single one of them has refuted a single one of Palin's Impeachment charges.

Not Labrador, Not Cheney.

Not a single one.

You don’t prosecute unless you have a REASONABLE chance of conviction.

I love Sarah, but do not agree with her on this issue.

I believe that Sarah Palin, who has given us good information on some issues, doesn’t have the burden of leadership right now

I guess that "burden" turns otherwise semi-competent crooked pols into 0bama loving, good for nothing, lilly livered cowards.

PS. If congress won't stand up and get rid of the biggest threat to this Country since Aaron Burr and Benedict Arnold, I've got absolutely no use for you and the GOP sure as hell won't get one red cent from me!

I have mixed feelings. Does Obama deserve to be impeached? Hell, yes. Many times over. The problem is that when the Founders set up the impeachment option, it was based on the notion that a president, duly elected, might go rogue, but a fundamentally ethical Congress would shut him down. Unfortunately, what we have is a corrupt, incompetent ideologue propelled to the White House with the continued support and encouragement of a corrupt political party that still holds enough power to prevent his removal; or in the unlikely case that he is removed from power, replace him with someone equally as corrupt and incompetent.

Given the very credible prospect that impeachment proceedings against Obama would aid the Democrats (cheered on by the MSM) in their ability to play the race card and otherwise paint the GOP as angry, vengeful extremists, the best outcome would be his removal, and then we get Biden.

I think that the only way to really remedy the Obama blight is going to (1) take the Senate, (2) use control of both houses to shut down his radical agenda, (3) fully investigate and prosecute him and his entire cadre to the full extent of the law after he’s peacefully left office. Unfortunately, I don’t imagine the GOP will have the fortitude to do #3 for fear of being seen as sore winners and not wanting to stir the pot, but if they fail to do it, they’ll be rolling out the red carpet for the next Obama-esque regime, which you can bet will be even worse.

It would be silly to try to impeach at this point. It would be a waste of time and IT WOULD TAKE THE ATTENTION OFF OBAMA’S INCOMPETENCE.

The liberal media would love nothing more than to take the attention off Obama’s failures with the economy, immigration, foreign policy, etc. The republicans have just the clowns to do it.

Obama’s poll numbers are down. The repubs need to be focused on gaining in the house and taking the senate. If that doesn’t happen, we’re in very serious trouble for Obama’s last two years.

Obama won’t be removed from office with the demos controlling the senate. It would just be a side show where the media would make the republican buffoons look like buffoons.

Obama is one big train wreck. Why take the attention off him?

Why are “Dick Cheney” and “House conservatives” mentioned in the same sentence?

Obama is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors. In a perfect world, he’d be gone. However, we do not live in a perfect world. We must deal with the one we live in.

There is absolutely no way he would be ousted by the Senate. The exercise would only serve to make “impeachment” the issue of the day; mobilizing his demoralized minions and base and remove a host of his problems from the debate before the election.

So, if we cannot succeed, and, in effect, surrender issues that help us in the process - while mobilizing his allies for him; it would be an exercise in insanity and futility.

Passing articles of impeachment in the House would only be a Pyrhhic victory.

She's right, I don't care what anyone says, even you Mr. Cheney. Even in the article there are excuses not to do it after the midterms and not to do it after 2016.

I know, lets do nothing......that will help. COWARDS. FUGOP.

‘there won’t be impeachment charges’

remind me again what power congress has against an out of control executive?

oh yea, impeachment. and now, they don’t even have that. unless they’re thinking treason charges, then that’s the game.

this is what a blank check looks like

they’ve just giving everyone in south america a green light to move into the US

nothing will change this ... unless we get an epidemic outbreak of some kind. even then, i doubt they’d do their job and just let 0bama double fist the nation
