Last month, I was very happy to hear that Mitt Romney was considering another run. Frankly, I think that he is one of the most qualified people ever denied the presidency.
Over the last few weeks, Gov Perry has been at the forefront of the "kids on the border issue." He represents people who are directly impacted by the chaos on the border.
Over the weekend, Gov Perry moved beyond the border and wrote a column about President Obama's foreign policy. It was strong. He challenged isolationism and he is right:
"As a veteran, and as a governor who has supported Texas National Guard deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, I can understand the emotions behind isolationism.
Many people are tired of war, and the urge to pull back is a natural, human reaction.
Unfortunately, we live in a world where isolationist policies would only endanger our national security even further."
Gov Perry also took on Senator Rand Paul's view of the world. He also aligned himself with President Reagan's foreign policy - the projection of strength and maintaining a strong defense.
Gov Perry also has his Texas' economic record to talk about. Frankly, a lot of Americans may want to hear how Texas does it in 2016.

No one mentioned is even in the same league, state, nation, or universe with RWR!
BOOM!
Total nonsense, Romney has a single victory to show for his entire decades old political career, he failed in that office and gave up running for reelection and left with 34% approval.
Navy Lt. Commander Richard Nixon came out of WWII and became a two term Congressman, sworn in one year after resigning his Navy commission.
Congressman Nixon later won office as a united States Senator, and then served as a two term Vice President of the United States as veep he ran for and lost that 1960 presidential election by only thousands of votes.
Mitt Romney is a true loser, with almost nothing to show for decades of campaigning, except that one lonely, less than 50% election win which ended in failure, his having to give up his plan for reelection, and losing the seat to democrats after his having been the 4th GOP governor in a row.
Not a single one of them will challenge the legitimacy of so-called “moderate” Islam or its current representation in the WH and the Executive Branch of govt. Not a one has mentioned the recent establishment and announcements of the newly formed Muslim political party, the USMCO, the US Muslim Council of Organisations, designed to immediately focus on the 2016 election as a voting block.
Valerie Jarrett is thought to be a potential Dem candidate waiting in the wings, certainly a major Muslim Brotherhood associate. The Muslim Brotherhood has had the last two presidents “covered” (Saudi Royal Presidential gold medallions speak for themselves) and will go for another, regardless of whether he/she is a Dem or Republican.
The influence of the Muslim Brotherhood on US foreign policy and internal matters is massive and should be a major election issue. If the media are a fourth estate, the MB is a fifth estate thru its US organisations, now organized for formal political functioning at the highest levels of government and politics in the US.
Here is a link to the USMCO’s nature and recent announcements since March 2012 and before:

The Muslim Brotherhood, linked strongly in a publicly perceived sense since the Cairo Speech, vetted by MB advisors has had increasing influence on US foreign policy in the ME, especially in Syira, Libya and with HAMAS, sprung itsef, as Al Q, from the MB. The US in Syria risks a Al Q replacement for Assad in Syria and if the IS Caliphate relinks with Al-Q there will be vastly more trouble. Boko Haram and a significant element of the Pakistan Taliban have come out for the IS Caliphate.
Another political party has formed to influence US policy to an even greater extent than it does already, and neither party recognises the threat or is addressing it. Both parties would rather attack the Tea Party. The Muslim Brotherhood would like to keep it that way.
The Muslim Brotherhood has NO resistance offered by either party to its anti-American goals. How come?
Here are a couple of links regarding the USMCO and its member organisations
Not an endorsement, but I really want to see Walker run, think he would be very good to have in the mix as a viable contender.
Or is he too damaged now as a result of those manufactured scandals?
Palin, Cruz, or LOSE.
How about Scott Walker?
Reagan wasn’t a retread, he was a political force and the true earned leader of the conservatives in America, while to this day no one knows why Romney is even in politics.
In 1976 Governor Reagan was only months out of his second term as Governor of California, and he almost knocked off a SITTING GOP president as the counting went on after midnight “Ford prevailed with 1,187 delegates to Reagan’s 1,070”. In 1980 he did defeat a sitting president.
It was during the 1980 campaign that Romney left the GOP, eventually to become a democrat supporter, fund raiser, and even voter.
“Last month, I was very happy to hear that Mitt Romney was considering another run.”
Why is there no BARF alert?!?
Walker is another Bush Shamnesty clone.
No to Huck, and no to the Huckster. Perry, I am not sold on either, but I have not completely excluded him. Those other two, never. Ever.
Rick Perry definitely running, always seen wearing glasses now to look smart.
PLEASON NO MORE HUCKSTER!!!
In before the Perry haters? Watch the hate begin in 3, 2, 1 ...
It is going to be very tough to nominate a conservative with a stacked field and Mike Huckabee picking off 15% of religious republicans. I fear it will come to Virginia and I will have to vote for someone like Rick Perry because he is the most tolerable person left in the field. The same playbook is being used and We are going to wind up with Bush or Romney again.
Throw Cristie into the mix and you’ll get the finest collection of losers available.
I think Rick Perry is in and I’m glad. I like the guy. He and Ted Cruz are my only choices.
IMO Mitt is till talking Ann into letting him run but I will bet he wears her down and jumps in. He will suck all of Jebs donors away and get the big money. Plus he has a lot of his own money. If Mitt runs the GOPe will line up behind him.
Cruz will crush all of these guys.
Don’t forget Bob Dole...
