The life jackets helped many make it across the Rio Grande from Reynosa, the Mexican city across the water from Mission, just west of McAllen. Sources say they come over on rafts ferried by the so-called “coyotes,” the human smugglers whose means of transport are rendered useless whenever discovered by the Border Patrol. Many don’t make it across the river; multiple sources became emotional when recounting their discoveries of small, lifeless bodies washed up along the riverbank.
FOX EXCLUSIVE: McALLEN, Texas — Life jackets of all sizes and the occasional punctured raft are strewn along the banks of the Rio Grande, just south of Mission, Texas, where a relentless onslaught of illegal immigrants eagerly surrender to beleaguered Border Patrol agents around the clock.
It’s a cycle for which there is no end in sight.
“You're going to be out here a long time,” Fernando, an El Salvadoran child, told FoxNews.com shortly after surrendering to Border Patrol authorities after midnight Saturday. “There are thousands of us."

FoxNews.com accompanied Texas lawmaker Louie Gohmert, a former judge and current Republican Congressman, to the site in the pre-dawn hours of Saturday. Gohmert, whose district lies some 550 miles northeast of what has become the most heavily-trafficked people-smuggling route in the world, has been to the location many times, but has never seen it so understaffed and overwhelmed.
“I’m more concerned than ever [that the border is] so seriously undermanned and I’ll be raising hell in Washington,” Gohmert, who invited FoxNews.com to see the situation first-hand, would later tell Border Patrol officials.

Now it turns out bodies of dead children are washing up on the Texas side of Rio Grand Valley and the Obama administration is covering this up also.
Obama's legacy will be THAT--racist emergence from the Democrats. TWICE he was elected, which says that it's not JUST the fault of the Democrat machine.
“I’ll be raising hell in Washington” Talking a bunch of crap is what he means. Congress could stop this today. It would take extreme action that hasn’t been done since the late 18th century, but it needs to happen. There is no rule of law, only power.
This could be fixed in 24 hours with National Guard troops being deployed and CLOSING THE BORDER.
Infuriating they wont do this.
When is Perry going to declare a State of Emergency and put the Texas State Guard and the Texas State Militia on the border and stop these people from crossing the border and driving them back across if they do? When are the citizens of Texas going to rise up and demand that their Governor do his job?

I’m now concerned that the NG would be ignored by the illegals. Brit Hume and the lapdog press are constantly pointing out that the guard wouldn’t be able to do anything but apprehend them. They might as well tell them “We’ve got the NG on the border but their guns aren’t loaded.”
Not to worry, Obama has a plan to overwhelm the system and create a crisis that will be overcome by more money and more government.

The ONLY way to close the border is with a physical barrier. Our NG troops are NOT going to shoot kids scrambling out of the river or under the fence. BUILD THE WALL, NOW!
And, Bergdahl is going back to active duty, while GOOD men serving are getting pink slips.
Keep calling your congress critters - it may seem futile, but if we don’t call, silence is agreement. Tell them TODAY, do something.
And tell them NEVER, EVER allow illegal invaders to vote, collect welfare OR become citizens.
If we want to keep our country we need to fight for our country.

I have no idea how many. But I do know if the will was there; Guard troops could be driving that way this afternoon from different states if it was a priority to secure our borders.
Lots of people on both sides do not want the border closed.
