Music teacher Flint Dollar has filed a lawsuit claiming Macon, Georgia, Catholic school Mount de Sales Academy discriminated against him based on gender, NPR reports. Dollar can't sue the school for bias against him based on sexual orientation because federal law does not bar such discrimination and neither does the state of Georgia.
Dollar's lawyer, Charles Cox, argues Dollar can use Title VII of the Civil Rights Act which forbids discrimination based on gender to sue the school because he was essentially penalized for not conforming to gender stereotypes.

Yes, it was a position reserved for young women ages 14-17 or so, and the citizens were very protective of their kids AND the teachers. Far cry from now.
I loved those books as a kid, then again as a newly married bride living high in the Rockies in a mining town. I read through the Childrens’ Books that summer - and cooked for the crew - while my new husband was doing geological exploration.
I have visited several of the LH sites too. LH in the Big Woods is not far south of Minneapolis. There is a cabin there, recreated - TINY as all get-out. It is near the Mississippi River where it widens to a lake.
There you go - violated his contract. Maybe even that is protected now.
Facebook has 56 genders available to identify yourself. How there can be so many I certainly don’t know....
