How is Perry pro Amnesty? I would say he is pretty Conservative on most issues and would be in my top 5-8 for President. He has done a good job in Texas and is taking the sealing of the border seriously.

Rick Perry said of those that don’t support educating children of illegal aliens, “I don’t think you have a heart."

"Every day I have Texans on that border that are doing their job. But if you say that we should not educate children who have come into our state for no other reason than they've been brought there by no fault of their own, I don't think you have a heart. We need to be educating these children, because they will become a drag on our society,” Perry added.

The first two links are from the 2012 election, and are, in fairness, by pro-Gingrich and Pro-Santorum voices. Still, they quote his own words.

That last link is Perry defending Jeb Bush’s statement that illegal aliens “wanted to make sure their family was intact, and they crossed the border because they had no other means to work to be able to provide for their family. Yes, they broke the law, but it’s not a felony. It’s an act of love. It’s an act of commitment to your family.”

Look, I don’t necessarily disagree with Perry, and not even Jeb Bush. Bush might be right, but that still doesn’t make it legal nor should we still allow unlimited migration despite ANY reason save political asylum, which has to be individually applied for.

I do think there is a LOT of money out there wanting Mexican labor, and that money has absolutely no interest in the welfare of the rest of us and strain on our country. Politicians are frankly being bribed by those money interests. Is Perry? I think, yes, as governor of Texas, he simply has to be mindful of the state’s moneyed interests.

Bray, you have missed a tremendous amount of political history in Texas.
Perry is NO conservative - He is a RINO who at times has proposed doing eminent domain for a chunk of Texas to put in a Highway / Train from the Mexican border north. As a good business idea I support the Highway - BUT NOT AS eminent domain land grab

At another time he tried to pass a law to immunize all teenage girls in Texas with PIV?? I may have the acronym wrong. He was stopped by Talk Radio outrage led by Dan Patric who is currently running for the Lt. G’nor spot in Texas

How is Perry pro Amnesty?

Perry is for 100% Amnesty for ALL illegals -- notwithstanding his contrary rhetoric.

and is taking the sealing of the border seriously.

LOL, you can't be serious?? Tell me you are joking?

We are truly losing our Republic and all Perry does is talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk.

Obama is willfully violating Article 4 Section 4 Clause 2 of the United States Constitution. Perry therefore has a Constitutional obligation, a duty, to call upon the citizens of Texas to assemble and seal the border.

A true leader would ACT in the face of this illegal invasion, not continue to blather and blow hot air.

Perry is a fraud -- he is not at all a true leader in the sense of Washington, Patton and Pershing.

Perry has the opportunity to be a major historic figure if only he would ACT. He will not because he is a very weak man. Perry is destined to be a footnote to history.
