Why privately subsidize this Obama scheme?

We oppose it and want the them returned and forbidden entrance in the first place, do you think the federal government is going to bring them in and then starve them while in federal custody, if we don’t raise private funds?

No. The federal government won’t starve the kids, but it won’t do much beyond the bare minimum to take care of them either. Some of these children are very young. What’s wrong with people voluntarily donating supplies? These donations won’t change the law or political battles one bit. If it’s voluntary charity and helps treat the children more humanely, what’s the problem?

Change the asylum laws, and fund extra courts to fast track these asylum claims! Get them out of this country ASAP, but until that happens, what’s wrong with treating these children as we’d treat our own children? Isn’t that the moral thing to do regardless of the law and politics of the situation?

It seems to me Congress needs to find some way to fast track these immigration cases and tighten the criteria that is used to allow people to immigrate here.
