Maybe Cruz although I'm not sure of his clear understanding and commitment to cut this $4 trillion government down at least 80%.
Maybe Rand Paul (everybody around here hates him) because he's seems the most clear about the threat of big government. He falters on foreign policy and rankles everyone about amnesty.
Hiring politicians is like a treaty with a potential enemy. You do what Reagan said: "trust but verify." I think the answer is what Milton Friedman once said: Vote for the best candidate you can but make sure you make it politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing.
Our best political shot may be the Article V Convention of States proposed by the Citizens for Self Governance that could give us Constitutional amendments forcing huge cuts in government and taxes.
