New Jersey Gov. Chris Christies is leading the field by 5 percentage points of likely Republican voters in the New Hampshire primary, a new poll shows.
But the Granite State-WMUR survey shows that if 2012 presidential nominee Mitt Romney were to enter the 2016 race, he would be the first choice of many likely voters in the state.
Despite the scandal surrounding the closing of lanes leading to the George Washington Bridge, Christie received 19 percent support while Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul had 14 percent.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was in third position with 11 percent of the vote while Sen. Marco Rubio of that state received 8 percent, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal got 5 percent and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz had 5 percent.

Bobby Jindal and Ted Cruz are the only conservatives on this list.
I would vote for Christy before Romney any day of the week.
If only because of how he financially turned NJ around...right now we are drowning in debt and idiotic spending.
As much as I dislike Krispy Kreme, I have to agree with you. I absolutely can’t stand milt.
Oh,God. Please. None of the above.
CC has lost over 50 lbs and still going, so maybe by 2016 no one will recognize him....lol I like him as a financial manager...and he has been a Governor, therefore being over the National Guard he has some military understanding and experience....more than O Drama had.

Palin but she won't run.
Maybe Cruz although I'm not sure of his clear understanding and commitment to cut this $4 trillion government down at least 80%.
Maybe Rand Paul (everybody around here hates him) because he's seems the most clear about the threat of big government. He falters on foreign policy and rankles everyone about amnesty.
Hiring politicians is like a treaty with a potential enemy. You do what Reagan said: "trust but verify." I think the answer is what Milton Friedman once said: Vote for the best candidate you can but make sure you make it politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing.
Our best political shot may be the Article V Convention of States proposed by the Citizens for Self Governance that could give us Constitutional amendments forcing huge cuts in government and taxes.
