Yes, the hours were bad. My wife told me to find a job with “old man hours”, instead of getting home at 10:30 or later.

Wheat is done, did only about 5 bu. per acre. Thankful for insurance. Still needing rain in this local! Well into the second cutting of alfalfa. Getting some top quality hay for our local dairies. Still burning truck load turns of grinder hay to Texas feedlots and cottonseed back for the dairies. No rest for the weary, anyway not much. Am planning a short runaway to the Rockies with my wife in another week. We need our mountain fix, LOL.
