Dont call him Chris Christie.
Republican Texas Gov. Rick Perry refused to greet President Barack Obama at a tarmac photo-op this week, and instead challenged Obama to hold a substantive meeting with him to discuss the illegal immigration crisis currently engulfing states along the U.S.-Mexico border.
The White House requested that Perry meet Obama on the tarmac Wednesday as he gets off Air Force One on his way to Democratic fundraisers in Texas, which could have created another tableau like the Chris Christie hug during Superstorm Sandy, which helped Obama in the 2012 election. But Perry wasnt having it.

Oh yes! And I think that’s the tip of the iceberg.
Accessing community resources without paying taxes will NOT work.
Regardless of your politics, it just plain defies logic to expect THAT will work.
The infrastructure of your community is not SELF-SUSTAINING.
Refusal by crybaby House Speaker Boehner to Impeach Obama for failure to secure the Southern Border requires that We, The People take matters into our own hands.
An excellent place to start is for us to “encourage” our local “Independent” School Boards to ban all Public School programs that would, in any way, provide aid and comfort to the Spanish-speaking Illegal Alien Invaders.
Name one border state governor who is doing anything? Where is Jan Brewer and Susannah Martinez? AWOL is where they are.
Rick Perry is the only Governor trying to do anything. I think he should do more also but on the other hand he is winning the PR war. Its making Oblunder look worse and worse. Maybe it will lead to removal.
Oh-oh - here it comes....”HandshakeGate” ;’)
More bloviating and dithering by the feckless Rick Perry. Instead of meaningless gestures that do nothing to stop the invasion how about declaring a State of Emergency or, better yet, a State of Invasion or something useful.
It’s really too bad that Rick showed up in such a stupor at the 2012 republican primary debate.
I believe he is the one who could have gone all the way and knocked Obama out of the White House.
Yes, good for him in denying Obama his photo op while taking him to task for not securing the border and inviting millions of illegal aliens in to infest our country.
Only if it’s the right finger.
‘Maybe it will lead to removal.’
It can’t be soon enough
Please....
I’ll be impressed when Rick “Open Borders” Perry actually does something concrete, not some useless, empty, political grandstanding, gesture.
Speaker boners legal efforts bring new meaning to the expression “dry hump”.
I want Perry to show me where in the Constitution the states have expressly delegated to the feds the specific power to regulate immigration. That’s a challege because the word immigration doesn’t appear in the Constitution.
In other words, Perry doesn’t seem to understand that he, not Obama, has the 10th Amendment-protected power to regulate immigration policy for his state.
Do you really think.the senate will convict in an impeachment trial?
No, of course not, mainly because the US Senate has absolutely nothing to do with an Impeachment trial.
Impeachment is the arrest and charges of violations of the US Constitution, something that crybaby Speaker Boehner is deathly afraid of doing.
The US Senate then can ignore the House’s Impeachment, a likely event in a Reid Senate, or choose to be the judge and jury.
He just knows the public will isn't there. If the public isn't behind it, it's stupid to make the attempt thereby potentially costing the House seats in November.
Oh dear!
The thought of losing a RINO seat in Congress is just terrifying!
Well, only if one has the hope that, for the very FIRST time, a RINO would actually NOT cave in to the Democrats.
