The only thing those traitorous bastards in DC respond to is the threat to their power and control...it's time to start showing them the door like folks did to Cantor...long past time.
Do it your way. But, if I said to them what I want to say, I would not come off as a reasonable person, and the listener would write me off as a right-wing extremist and not put much stock in my opinion.
But telling them that I feel sorry for the illegals and wish that I really could help them makes them see that I am not heartless or hateful. When I called I just explained, the way I would in talking to a child, that we just cannot afford to take in and help all of the world’s poor.
