Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) told Face the Nation host Bob Schieffer Sunday morning that he’d had enough of congressional Republicans criticizing the Obama administration over immigration policies when they’d refused to take up the bipartisan immigration reform bill passed by the Senate last year.
“I am really getting fed up with some of the critics of this administration, particularly from House Republicans,” Durbin said. “They had the opportunity for one solid year to call the immigration reform bill, and yet they refused to. Now they’re arguing we need more enforcement at the borders and a lot of other things? When are they going to accept their responsibility to govern?”
Just a few minutes before, Schieffer had asked Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) how it felt to be members of a party that refused to act; both said President Barack Obama’s alleged preference for executive actions made bringing aboard House GOP members more difficult.

You initiated a policy to tolerate the Marxist-Alinsky radicals and let them rant; not only has it not ceased but was constantly augmented by decades of infiltration and indoctrination. You now have two Americas. In my opinion, it will not cease until a crisis shall have been reached and passed. A house divided against itself cannot stand. I believe this government cannot endure, permanently, half statist and half free; I do not expect the house to fall; but I do expect it will cease to be divided. Funny you should mention that. A news article yesterday reported that Durbin and a republican guy from Illinois were blocking the insertion of a load of illegal aliens into some area in their state.
He’s all for immigration “reform” as long as he can carve out a nice exemption for himself, while castigating the Supreme Court for “carving out an exemption” for religious groups slimed by obamacare.

without reading this whole article my thoughts are, what in the world does immigration reform have to do with just shutting down the borders?? first plug the hole, we can bail out the water in time.

We do not need borders, all we need is real penalties for being here illegally and cut off the freebies for those non citizens that happen to be semi legal.
Texas has ports on the Gulf of Mexico that the Navy could use to board and process the illegals.
Hawaii and Illinois: Does anyone know how many of the illegals are being flown to Hawaii and Illinois, Obama's "birth" state and adopted state and Durbin's home state?
If Obama is not sending any illegals to those states while he is sending them to other states, he should face a congressional hearing to explain why he is skipping Hawaii and Illinois.
