A couple of weeks ago, the news seemingly broke that the US has some 50,000 kids crossing the border.

Per some other articles that received very little attention, that 50k is only the current number.

I am sure McCain, Graham and Durbin will have the answer -- amnesty -- on Face the Nation. [/s]

It might be interesting to see whether McCain is queried about supporting the radical group in Syria who also seem to be of the same persuasion as the ISIS/ISIL in Iraq.

The above thread showed up a few days ago, but I haven't see any additional confirmation.

“news” just seems to disappear (if it ever appears at all).

We have No Place to Turn (except here at FR and Internet), except maybe Pravda or Al Jazeera but they focus on international coverage.

Great catches Tom!

Too bad the true story of how and why all this started doesn't get out.

The regime advertised all this would be happening months ago! So they started it. They founded it. They created it. They own it.

But all we hear from the msm is it's a humanitarian crisis which is Bullshit!

The truth is it's a created op by the regime that rules the country.

From the ICE website:

On June 15, 2012, the Secretary of Homeland Security announced that certain people who came to the United States as children and meet several guidelines may request consideration of deferred action for a period of two years, subject to renewal. They are also eligible for work authorization. Deferred action is a use of prosecutorial discretion to defer removal action against an individual for a certain period of time. Deferred action does not provide lawful status.

To date, 540,000 applicants for DACA have been approved. The approval rate is 99.5%, which means that there is practically no real checking of the applications. Is it any wonder that the word has gone out that as long as you can make it here, you will be allowed to stay? Up to 1.8 million are eligible for DACA. Does anyone doubt that this latest influx will be made eligible as well?

You may request DACA if you:

Were under the age of 31 as of June 15, 2012;

Came to the United States before reaching your 16th birthday;

Have continuously resided in the United States since June 15, 2007, up to the present time;

Were physically present in the United States on June 15, 2012, and at the time of making your request for consideration of deferred action with USCIS;

Had no lawful status on June 15, 2012;

Are currently in school, have graduated or obtained a certificate of completion from high school, have obtained a general education development (GED) certificate, or are an honorably discharged veteran of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States; and

Have not been convicted of a felony, significant misdemeanor,or three or more other misdemeanors, and do not otherwise pose a threat to national security or public safety.

Age Guidelines

Anyone requesting DACA must have been under 31 years old as of June 15, 2012. You must also be at least 15 years or older to request DACA, unless you are currently in removal proceedings or have a final removal or voluntary departure order.
