The case is Parker v. Side by Side, Inc. (N.D. Ill. June 27, 2014). An excerpt:
Plaintiff is a practicing non-denominational Christian. Plaintiff bases his claim for religious harassment on purportedly anti-Christian video clips Sidetrack played during comedy nights, offensive performances ridiculing Christians at special events, and degrading comments Sidetrack employees, particularly Lee Trudell and Defendant Oakes, made to Plaintiff because of his religion and his relationship with [Kevin DuJan, a Christian conservative blogger].
First, Plaintiff contends that video clips Sidetrack played during its weekly Comedy Nights contained anti-Christian and Christian mocking elements. DuJan testified that the purportedly offensive videos included the following clips:
A clip of Sarah Palin and her family being murdered in [the] woods with automatic rifles; Other clips of Sarah Palin interposed among gruesome clips from horror films; Clips of a group of men called the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, who were dressed in nun habits, used garish makeup, showed large pregnant bellies, held bottles of alcohol, and mocked Christians and Catholics in particular; Clips of a man in a loin cloth aping being [sic] Jesus
acting like a buffoon, acting intoxicated and seeking sexual favors from men; Cartoon clips in which actors portraying Jesus and Santa Claus engage in fighting, with the Jesus character being physically beaten; Clips of Pope Benedict XVI falling down or acting in a strange manner; Clips of a Pope Benedict character with bizarre eyes and rotten teeth attacking individuals; Clips of midgets dressed up as priests chasing young boys seeking sex; and Clips of gay events with patrons dressed up as religious figures and acting in a drunken manner.

A) The left are hypocrites so this won’t get a hearing
B) You cannot be self-declared ‘gay’ and Christian, certainly not if you’re working at a ‘gay bar’
C) I imagine a lot of these places are like the beer halls Hitler and his Brownshirts used to meet at. Both involve anti-Christian hatred
The enemy of my enemy....
The headlines gives me a headache
I think this law suit is really a bit of a stretch.
The guy works in a gay bar that hosts “comedy nights” during which they play offensive to him/amusing to some videos.
And he sues because he’s offended by them?
Give that man one MILLION dollars!
Either his sexual practices, or his faith will eventually have to go.
True, but aren’t you kinda rooting for him to win? Just for the chaos factor.
One the hand I do admire gays who are real Conservatives as they get treated like black Conservatives by leftists then on the other hand why work at a ultra left gay bar? The first month there he knew it was gonna be a hostile work place and should have left.
Now it’s their turn to start acting tolerant, whether they feel that way or not. Most Wedding CakeMakers would say that its’ only fair.
This should be interesting...
Where would the SCOTUS rule on the wedding cake issue?
Closely held company and the guy’s religious beliefs are opposed to ‘gay marriage.’
Seems like the business owner would win.
The dude should walk away and start his life over.
Now I just read the linked article, which is crazy. And I’m wondering, will we see this next season on “Shameless”? Because it would fit right in!
Didn’t read the whole thing but isn’t m
Dujan the head of Hillbuzz, the site that railed against O before his first election?
He packing something where it should not be packed....
This is a hoax. There is no such thing as a “gay Christian.”
Was there an amendment to the constitution that I missed saying we as Americans have a right to not be offended??
Personally I refuse to give anybody the power to offend me...
Sounds like some kind of liberal churchianity rather than faith, but nonetheless he’s dumped a can of worms out before the lefties. It might be popcorn-worthy.
Gay, Christian and Conservative doesn’t compute in one sentence.
It reads like a kind of churchianity, but still. That’s his religion and he’s saying he’s offended at the stuff which pokes ridicule at Christianity.
Maybe the Lord will use this to force the issue with him. In the meantime, there is plenty of popcorn.
