The Hennepin County attorneys office is investigating whether a private mailbox center in Minneapolis Cedar-Riverside neighborhood has been improperly used as an address for more than 140 voters.
State records show that 419 Cedar Avenue S. has been used by some of the voters as far back as 2008.
No one lives at the address, which is a Somali-dominated commercial building housing several small businesses and a popular mail center. Several dozen apartments upstairs use a different building number. Records also show that more than 90 of the registrants at that address have voted in previous elections, although its unclear how many voted while registered at 419 Cedar.
The investigation reignites a long-running debate about voter fraud in Minnesota and is the latest flash point in the highly competitive race between Capitol stalwart Rep. Phyllis Kahn and Mohamud Noor, who would become the first Somali-American elected to the Legislature if elected. Kahn was denied the DFL endorsement in April due in part to Noors ability to turn out Somali supporters. An August primary will decide the fate of the race.

Phyllis gets a little taste of her own medicine...
Shape of things to come. How long due white liberals in Californistan think they will stay in office once the two main political parties become the Democrats and the U.S. equivalent of the PRI-La Raza Party?
I do wonder if there were any 12-year olds living at that address ..
Interesting how liberals accuse conservatives of playing identity politics, isn’t it?
Anyone sorting voter lists by address will be amazed how many people “live” in one PO Box or at phony address.
Very easy to do now with Xcell.
With so many IRS “recycled” hard drives it is oooo easy now to point the cameras at polling places and see who votes and how often.
Watch for union busses outside, ferrying voters from polling place to polling place.
Well, good thing that Illinois has okay’d same day registration for Federal elections.
That should solve any issue of using a PO Box as an address to prove residency...
The only other case of voter fraud Minnesota had able to find was an 86-year-old woman with dementia, this after the blatant voter fraud that gave us the comic-fraud, Franken.
This state is a mess, our governor is higher than Denver and the largest Somali city in the world is Minneapolis. Hell, even St. Cloud has a "Little Mogadishu" convenience store.
Now they are eating their own and I LOVE it!
We need to go back to original Founders Thinking. If you don’t own property, you don’t vote. Never happen, though.
Well, it’s not as though the known Communist, Mark Ritchie, really looked hard for voter fraud during the Saga of Stuart Smalley.
Voter fraud is rampant here with same-day registration.
I worked the polls in 2010 and was amazed that 22% of the voters were same day (1 in 5) and how many people use the floor of their cars as filing cabinets.
The experience removed any hope that we would survive as a Constitutional Republic.
The gaming and rigging of the system is so obvious and so rampant that it’s a wonder people haven’t taken to the streets. Oh, wait. I know why. And so do you, it seems.
To all Minnesotans, elect Dan Severson Secretary of State in November!
VERY IMPORTANT
Could not agree more.
419 Cedar Avenue S.
Otherwise known as “Little Mogadishu” to those who live in Minneapolis.
DFL = ?
DFL = Democratic Farmer-Labor. The Minnesota acronym for Rat.
Wait until the SEIU starts losing funding from union dues. Blue state liberals are going to have to pony up their own money.
This is going to be fun.
Having lived in the People’s Republic, I remember you didn’t even have to have an ID just a neighbor vouch for you.
In a small town like this it's a little harder - everybody knows everybody so new voters almost always must produce ID, utility bill, etc.
