There is no "Palestinian" territory.
For the last 20 years, by Israel’s own signed agreements they have FORMALLY RECOGNIZED the Palestinians and have named them specifically in these signed documents.
The current Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu always refers to them, in his public speeches and pronouncements as “Palestinians. The land areas are clearly delineated in these documents, too - as Areas A, B and C (the Palestinian Territories).
In addition to the above, Israel has signed Peace Treaties with two other nations, that they were at war with ... in which the Palestinians are specifically mentioned in connection with the land that they are currently on. Those two countries are Jordan and Egypt.

Never was a Palestine. The Romans called it that after the Philistines, Israel’s hated enemy. It was part of the Ottoman Empire then later The British Mandate. There were no people calling themselves Palestinians before 1948.
