Within our own country there are all too many signs of people blithely ready to sacrifice the interests or freedom of Americans for the sake of symbolism or passing fashions. Well, yes there probably are pure, altruistic commies. I can't think of any.
The bulk of Leftists are motivated like most men, by avarice and ambition, money and power. For starters, take away the profit from participants in our Rome-on-the-Potomac government.
