These dull-normals are incapable of separating news from opinion. Brett Baier is news. Most of the rest is opinion. Deal with it.

There was a time when newspapers had an editorial page which was labled as opinion and TV news shows had a segment which was clearly labled as opinion. The rest was of course far from truly “objective” but at least was to a great extent a reporting of facts as well as could be expected. Today there is nothing like a clear demarcation between news reporting and opinion and much of America is composed of people who have no mental concept of the difference. Most on the left simply assume that what they believe is incontrovertible while anything said in disagreement is at best an uninformed opinion and more likely deliberate lying.

The average sharecropper with a fourth grade education back in the fifties was more likely to be capable of logic than any of the prominent leftists of today. That sharecropper did not have the luxury of sitting in the shade whining that someone else should come and walk behind the mule because he didn’t feel well. He knew that if he didn’t work the fields no one else would. He knew it as a fact which would not be altered by his opinion.
