Homeschool ping

Good advice from Mike Adams for any student attending any university/college.

Check it out very thoroughly first.

My kids went to big name secular universities and came out faith intact.

They all majored in something that was in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) fields, which tend to be more conservative and not front loaded with gaystapo.

They were careful about what electives they took for their English, History, etc, requirements. They were also active in Christian campus ministries and attended church regularly.

There is some degree of control that a even student living on campus can exert over what they are exposed to. There will be stuff they encounter that can’t be helped, but over all, they can avoid the worst of it. Mine did. They picked their activities and friends wisely.

They knew who they were, what they believed, and why they believed it before they went to college. That is tremendous insulation against the attacks of the enemy.

“a small but growing Gaystapo on our campus. There are also some very militant feminist students”

This kind of crap intrigues me in a sick kind of way. Everyone can picture the lemmings being described here. The feminists are fat, usually have glasses, short hair with dyed streaks, wear clothes as hideous as possible, etc. The homos are skinny dweebs with noodle bracelets and buckteeth.

What do the parents of these kids think when they come home or as they leave for college? Do they see the losers they’ve created, the pathetic misfits who people may fear due to political correctness, but everyone really wants to give them a beatdown?

Honestly, liberal parents and too many conservative parents bring such excrement into the world. They might as well have gotten their sons and daughters from their rectums. Would probably smell better.

Alas, our society is now a playground for the lowest (ugliest) common denominators. However it is funny when every once in a while, they get exposed. Like that obese lefty b^tch from Wyoming who sent a ‘hatef&ck’ threat to herself and pretended it was from a conservative. Was expelled I think. Hahahha. justice!

What your student really needs is an identity and a commitment that is greater than the weak, meaningless humanistic drivel disguised as intellectual vigor on our campuses. That identity lies in the Scriptures, the people and the Land of Israel. The nations are returning to Torah, the covenant and the commandments that bring life to whoever takes hold of them. “I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than my elders because I keep your commandments.” - David, King of Israel, Psalm 119

This was our family’s experience as well.

I am curious that he encouraged joining an atheist club to ask hard questions but to avoid English and Sociology. Maybe because the club won't affect his GPA.

I liked nothing better to ask the hard questions of Commie professors in liberal courses. In some cases, the points made by a conservative student in these classes will be the only exposure to conservative thinking the others will have in their college experience.

You’ve got the right idea. Hold these fools up to public scrutiny and demand integrity in their arguments. Let the world see how flimsy their “logic” is.

I refer to this as “being armored up”. Put on that Full Armor of God.

...Honestly, liberal parents and too many conservative parents bring such excrement into the world...

So would you prefer these parents abort their children? No one is perfect and many parents try to instill values in their children but they grow up and go their own way. I'm sure it is heartbreaking for a parent but your description was just disgusting.

I am curious that he encouraged joining an atheist club to ask hard questions but to avoid English and Sociology. Maybe because the club won't affect his GPA.

I took the question to mean extracurricular groups, while Adams' advice was to avoid English or sociology as courses of study. Hanging out with the atheists at a weekly club meeting, and essentially living in a toxic intellectual environment for four years, are different things.

Ironicaly, from my perspective, I have an English degree. I enjoyed my schooling immensely. I would do it again. Except that I wouldn't: 20 years ago my profs valued open discussion and diversity of opinion, but it appears that the intellectual climate on campus has chilled considerably since the mid-1990s.

Yes, blame the kids because their parents are failures. This generation of youth will fail spectacularly because their parents failed where parents in previous generations succeeded. They have not passed on values, in most cases they pass on parasitism. And your abortion shoutout is pure straw man

My kids aren’t failures - perhaps your opinion is colored by those around you.

I also have an English degree and went to college about the same time. My hardest-core Commie professor was fair enough that, if you could strongly support your point of view, she would give a good grade even if she disagreed with your premise/conclusion. Today she teaches Queer Studies and dresses as a man. I don’t know if she is still as fair as 20 years ago.

So which part of the article were you responding to when you said, "Honestly, liberal parents and too many conservative parents bring such excrement into the world?"

Was clearly referring to Communist rat kids particularly of the feministand gaystapo variety. Read
