I never thought I would see the day when there were participants in this forum openly advocating voting for a liberal Democrat.
Yet that is what many are doing in advocating Kentuckians vote for Alison Lundergan Grimes.
This makes no sense unless one is a liberal or leftist anti-American or are unable to move beyond emotion and irrationality or a nihilist mind set that lets anger, fear, lack of faith and hatred dominate one's logical faculties.
Alison Lundergan Grimes was born in 1978. That's the year I graduated High school. Many here are older than I, and in politics, at 53 I am not all that old.
This liberal Democrat leftist, Alison Lundergan Grimes, is 36 years old. She is a baby in politics.
If she wins this seat now she will be in the Senate for 40 years.
By contrast, McConnell is an old man who will be gone after this term.
Those supporting the liberal Democrat leftist, Alison Lundergan Grimes, for Senate are going to simply make possible another Feinstein, or Boxer or any such left wing corrupt Marxist-thinking Senator with a Seat-For-Life.
Setting up a permanent seat in the Senate for a liberal leftist Democrat in a state where it is possible to avoid this plague, is not a good idea.
It may feel good emotionally to see the reprehensible, Mitch-I-want-to-punch-the-Tea-Party-in-the-nose McConnell lose, but the negative consequences are greater than the fleeting enjoyment of seeing McConnell lose.
LOL! Any of the above.
Remember when McConnell refused to support House efforts to defund Obamacare by sending separate funding bills to the Senate to keep the government open?
McConnell Shoots Down Ted Cruz’s Plan To Risk Shutdown Over Obamacare
All your example are good, and angering to me as well.
But Grimes would not have supported with Cruz either on the issue you highlight, nor on any issue.
On the other hand, McConnell and Cruz will be aligned on some important issues, e.g. fracking, oil pipelines and other issues Democrats oppose across the board, but even GOP-e support.
So support for her, or any Dem is irrational.
Wanting to depose and marginalize McConnell is quite rational and worthy. But giving his seat to a leftist is not how to do it.
That hurts us In the long run more than it hurts McConnell.
Bevin lost. It was good of him to try, but he didn’t have what it took.
Lashing out, and harming ourselves by creating another seat for a leftist liberal is not the response.
yep, you should sit down.
“Truth be told there are Freepers that are liberal democrats. They post on here all the time, they work at causing distrust and support for the liberal agenda, so never assume that a freeper is conservative, some are nothing more then leftist trash.”
Yes.
That is clear. Many have very early sign up dates as well.
They push conservatives to be cynical, angered, despondent and thinking there is no difference between parties.
This gives the leftists more power.
or liberals more power ... is a decision when making a decision. Am still contemplating ....
I’ve noticed a lot of strange postings from members with Oct 2012 Sign-up dates...
You should have stopped right there, a sincere apology would have been enough. The emotional gibberish that followed was not necessary and only diminished any attempt at contrition on your part.
notice you too have 2012 ... maybe is nothing at all.
Keystone XL Pipeline Deadline Pushed by 11 Senate Democrats
Democratic senators who favor completing the Keystone XL pipeline, including some of the party's most vulnerable senators up for re-election, are once again prodding the White House to make up its mind. ...Democratic Sens. Mark Begich of Alaska, Mark Pryor of Arkansas, Joe Manchin III of West Virginia, Joe Donnelly of Indiana, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Mark Warner of Virginia, Kay Hagan of North Carolina joined Montana Democrats Jon Tester and John Walsh in signing on to the letter with Heitkamp and Landrieu.
And your response are ones coming from someone who gets excited
being dumped on over and over again by the same party that called
conservatives in MS racists.
The GOPe’s will stick it too you as long as you enjoy being stuck.
think it is nothing at all ... know I’m nothing at all.

If one can't debate a "poorly written vanity post", what can one debate?
I’ll be nice trisham ....
No one who understands the Buckley Rule could ever agree with your silly assessment.
LOL.

Yeah, when I signed up I got a lot of grief from some of the members. After posting comments on a few articles I was called a “retread.” Over time they mellowed out.
Now lately I’ve noticed a lot of posters with 2012 sign up dates posting some screwy stuff. Was that a strange year for members or something?
I’ll listen ... anything else?
step away from the funny medicine bottles...
