President Obama, tired of waiting for Congress to act on immigration reform, is currently exploring ways to address issues with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson.
During an interview with MSNBCs Chuck Todd, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest explained that the Obama was getting impatient with Congress.
[W]ere not just going to sit around and wait interminably for Congress, he explained. Weve been waiting a year already. The president has tasked his Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson with reviewing what options are available to the president, what is at his disposal using his executive authority to try to address some of the problems that have been created by our broken immigration system.
Earnest added although Obama was exploring executive action, it was not a substitute for robust Congressional action on immigration reform.
Thats why were trying to focus on getting that done, he concluded.
Obama has been heavily criticized after his 2012 executive decision to defer the deportations of some young illegal immigrants which critics argue was a key incentive for more children to cross the border illegally.

Congress cannot submit a bill because the minute they do, the senate bastardized it, takes it to committee, and it’s over Johnny.
So,
Congress needs to have a press conference with every Republican behind Boehner. And all Boehner needs to say is, “Today the congress has deemed that the current law must be followed as written.” Any reform to that law will be contingent upon the existing law being followed as to ascertain whether there are flaws in the law or if the President has circumvented the law and in such violated the Constitution and should be held accountable.”
Then leave,
There are two people who could “reform” immigration. That’s Perry and Brewer. Call up the National Guard and let them guard our nation.
Elections have consequences...now don’t they?
Guess we showed Romney a thing or two. But hey, Romney and Obama are exactly the same...right?
Hmm.
I’m not so sure the American people ought to keep “sitting and waiting” for Congress to do something about this lawless criminal posing as president and this crazy corrupt government either.
Far past time for action.
By the time his lawsuit is done obamas transformational change will be done.

Yup! Obamugabe and Bonehead apparently made an agreement in this regard.
Well said!
Can it be said any more clearly? We have a rouge communist government, and both sides of the ONE party are equal members.

Seems to me Congress could eliminate executive orders if it had a mind to do so...
“W.H. Press Secretary: ‘Were Not Just Going To Sit Around And Wait’ For Congress To Write Laws”
It is the role of Congress (legislative) to write laws, not the president (executive).
This is why Issa has filed a lawsuit against the pres for his illegal use of writing laws through EO.
Nope, it has been asserted that this “pending” lawsuit is going to be filed by that guy from Ohio...
There are a few that are jumping onboard, but I have a feeling it is only a “trial balloon” to see how the press spin it for the stupid (low-information) people in this country...
I am not holding my breath on whether it happens or not...
I wonder what ‘standing’ We the People would have in bringing our own lawsuit. D.C. vs. We the People on the same (as if they care about We already...).
I’d only wish/hope we wouldn’t have to go through WoI II to dismantle/start-again....When, in the course of Human events
Well, you have a Federal Courthouse in your area, right???
Type it (complaint) up, get a lawyer buddy to review any legaliese that needs to be added, get the format right, and file it...
Easy breeazy...
The tricky part will be how it is reviewed...I would say that I would give it a week, then call a local news outlet, and tell them the story...
Who knows...If a bunch of these get a little attention the totality of the movement might very well give the schmups up in D.C. another scare...
I’m not holding by breath though...
