Chris McDaniel, onthe blatantly unethical and illegal tactics employed by Thad Cochran and Haley Barbour in the Mississippi GOP runoff Tuesday
McDaniel: I am a two-term state senator, I have fought for this party my entire life, Ive given money Ive done everything theyve asked me to do and last night, they pulled over 35,000 Democrats into a Republican primary to defeat me we feel betrayed.
Hannity: Do you foresee any circumstance under which you would support this guy? Because I dont think I could do it.
McDaniel: I prayed about it last night my core principle is gonna have a hard time even looking at politics again.
Hannity: You sound like you got punched in the gut. You sound like youve been betrayed.
McDaniel: Sean, I was I have fought for these people. These are my colleagues. They are my friends I dont understand!
But Ted Cruz has bigger fish to fry
I certainly congratulate my colleague, Thad, Cruz said on Fox and Friends Wednesday morning, pointing out that the Republican establishment poured millions into the Mississippi race and only won by a thin margin. Cruz reminded the hosts that he did not endorse a candidate in the Mississippi primary, as he promised to stay out of incumbent Senate races.
As does Rand
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), a potential 2016 presidential contender, declined to support tea party critics of Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochrans efforts to mobilize non-GOP voters to win the Republican nomination.
Im for more people voting, not less people voting, Paul told reporters Wednesday.
Why can’t Republicans vote in the Democrat primaries too?...
Many years ago Buchanan and others told everyone the difference between these two beltway parties became inconsequential.
Both parties are riding in the same limo...The slack jawed morons and those in on the con-job talk about global warming, homos and windmills..
Now instead of creating a new party, away from the super wealthy powerful entrenched corrupt, insiders have decided to rename a group within the same corrupt big top to appease the easily led. They put a new paint job on the same limo and darkened the tint...
Especially the illegals.
Do you seriously think a person could make it through medical school and not be “smart”? That’s a rhetorical question, you don’t need to answer that.
I was responding to another poster’s claim (not to you) that Rand wasn’t too smart. People can quibble about Rand’s qualifications as a viable candidate all day long...but the guy is still smart no matter what else a person thinks of him.
I wrote to my congresscritter—senator—Isakson-GA.
Pretty much told him IF he didn’t speak against this atrocity PUBLICALY, I would consider HIM as complicit in this.
(also added WE WILL REMEMBER MISSISSIPPI.)
That is only half the picture... they also like to pass the crap ON.
Nonsense. It’s no canard. There isn’t a perfect candidate out there, not even Saint Reagan. This isn’t a restaurant buffet where you get exactly what you want. That’s naïve.
This is politics and there are always trade-offs. What I like about Walker is he’s right on the issues and the proper order of action. He cleans up the fiscal mess first, gets the economy growing, people working and putting money in their pockets. Once you do this, people are happy and you can then branch out incrementally to change social policies using your fiscal success as a shield. People love a winner, but they love it most when their that winner.
If they win financially their happy to let you run with your policy. If Democratcare worked and the economy was humming the Tea Party wouldn’t have a chance.
Here’s one analysis of Walker: http://www.ontheissues.org/Scott_Walker.htm
and vote match: http://www.ontheissues.org/Scott_Walker_VoteMatch.htm
Now McDaniel knows how Sarah feels.
there is a distinct difference between calling a pol who votes for a 15 foot fence a lesser evil and one that votes for a 20 foot fence because 15 feet is wasier to climb thab 20.
A person that funds abortion, wants gay everything or one who trucks in Democrats like the UAW to bench a conservative is not a ‘lesser evil’.
I agree. What a gutless response from Cruz. I have always had enormous respect for Cruz. As for Rand, I expect stupid statements from him.
The Gordian knot will only be pulled tighter and tighter this way. It’s all “against” now, and nothing to be “for.”
Until people’s hearts bow down before God, nothing good will come into this society.
Yes, via affirmative action. It happens all the time.
Liberal republicans like you riff on perfection while ignoring that many republican candidates don't match the party platform.
How is Walker on matching the party platform? Abortion? 2nd Amendment? Amnesty?
/johnny
Having the experience of knowing a number of Doctors personally, yes I KNOW they can be utter morons. Because I have had plenty of them tell me so.
Until something even worse comes your way, then you will wonder why you did not ask God to propitiously use the best levers you had.
Remember Mississippi is a war cry.
Amen, FRiend!!!
Remember Mississippi is not a war cry.
REMEMBER JESUS — IS A WAR CRY!!!
Satan snickers.
I don’t need to ask God why praying for salvation from people that oppose him and all he stands for is a stupid mindset to have. Anyone that has the faintest relationship with him should already know that much just being Christian.
BTW, that personality conflict thing of yours is showing again.
