scarcity alotted on the basis of “how much they like you”.
Nice.
The VA has no shame!
Obamacare will do this to those who speak out against the Regime, or their perverted policies.
but we can totally trust the government to run healthcare
But a revolt against a corrupt IRS is even more powerful.
The arrogance, treachery, and corruptness of the IRS might lead to its downfall and that would trigger a call for another means of producing revenue.
I’m not surprised. Vets have been receiving shoddy healthcare, or put on the back burner and getting none at all, for a very long time = 30+ years.
Senior moment I guess.
Hahahaha! Welcome to my world. The workers and their unions are MUCH MORE important than the veterans at the VA. Not a new thing. Waiting for the poster saying “I’ve always received ‘superb’ care at the VA hospitals so I don’t know what you guys are complaining about and blah, blah, blah..” in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ...
After waiting three hours to see a doctor for five minutes
I was told that in order to check out had to have
blood drawn. When I refused, my name and SS were entered
into some log kept by the headcase nurse, of anyone who
refused, my name was not the only one that I could see.
Today has not been a good day for other reasons but
I haven’t forgotten that incident.
Generally my care at the VA has been good, although
wait times for certain clinics are always LONG.
∅Care is bad enough. Making it more dispicable is the IRS has their mitts in its operation.
I wouldn’t be surprised that, if investigated, one flag for “disruptive” was registered Republican. Wonder if blue-state Secretaries of State of providing the VA with party registration lists. Too conspiratorial....?
My family believes that our father was targeted by the Va and that the trwatment he received was incorrect and caused his death
A scary premonition of Obamacare when faceless bureaucrats will determine what medical care you will receive.
I’m a navy submarine (nuclear) vet, and I’ve pleased with the care I’ve received at the Ct. VA.
So, if you don’t kiss the VA bureaucrat’s ass, they put you on the naughty list.
This is how vindictive third graders act.
The VA’s starting to have that ‘evil’ feel to it...
My Dad didn’t talk much about his service during the Korean War. Mom said that he would wake up at night screaming that “They’re in the trenches!” and grabbing for his carbine. He was just a green farm kid from Minnesota, but he became a Sergeant and a leader. His best friend was killed because of a foolish decision made by higher-ups who weren’t at their unit’s location. He became a lifelong advocate for people to do the right thing.
He did complain about the treatment he received from the VA. He had seen how inattention could get people killed. He thought his leukemia had returned, so he went to the VA clinic to get tested. They tested him, but wouldn’t give him the results. I guess that was their punishment for him for daring to complain.
He died of leukemia. A green farm kid from Minnesota who thought he was going to Germany with the Army and didn’t even know where Korea was. Just a GI. A dogface that the VA treated like a dog, so they could hand each other bonuses.
I like to think that he’s in heaven with his buddy that was killed. I found a photo album with some photos of him in Korea during the war. He never showed it to me while he was alive. He was a good-looking rascal with a glint in his eye. I guess all Soldiers are when they’re twenty. I became a Soldier because I wanted to be like my Pop.
Goddamn the VA.
I bet a Vet would get better care if he/she paid people under the table along the way.
Vet to scheduler/nurse/doctor: You pretend to care. I’ll pretend to like you.
