A SWAT team blew a hole in my 2-year-old son

After our house burned down in Wisconsin a few months ago, my husband and I packed our four young kids and all our belongings into a gold minivan and drove to my sister-in-law’s place, just outside of Atlanta. On the back windshield, we pasted six stick figures: a dad, a mom, three young girls, and one baby boy.

That minivan was sitting in the front driveway of my sister-in-law’s place the night a SWAT team broke in, looking for a small amount of drugs they thought my husband’s nephew had. Some of my kids’ toys were in the front yard, but the officers claimed they had no way of knowing children might be present. Our whole family was sleeping in the same room, one bed for us, one for the girls, and a crib.

After the SWAT team broke down the door, they threw a flashbang grenade inside. It landed in my son’s crib.

Flashbang grenades were created for soldiers to use during battle. When they explode, the noise is so loud and the flash is so bright that anyone close by is temporarily blinded and deafened. It’s been three weeks since the flashbang exploded next to my sleeping baby, and he’s still covered in burns.

There’s still a hole in his chest that exposes his ribs.

Since the potential for enemy infiltration (at that time Soviet SPETSNAZ) through the porous southern border was first highlighted as a finding of the fallout of Nifty Nugget in the Carter Administration (yes that is correct the Carter Administration) in 1978 your assessment is the only one that makes sense. The CIA has used drug trafficking to raise large amounts of untraceable cash for various black operations since the early 1950’s at least so what you write only makes sense.

Get ready for it ... his one-world government is coming relatively soon ... soon enough for many who are alive right now to see it firsthand.

Is that supposed to be a threat?

Many of us would welcome it.

And someone as big on scripture as you should know that pronouns referring to God or Jesus Christ should be capitalized.

‘While I believe in fighting drugs, it was a serious mistake to allow police to adopt military terminology. Quite frankly, they need to drop all the military crap. Ranks, ribbons, medals, terminology, etc. They are in a civilian environment, and they need to behave like it.’

Interestingly in many PD’s such as Chicago actually being competent with firearms and having a real interest in use of various guns is discouraged by the administrative culture of the department. It is called being a ‘gun nut’ and by inference being a ‘right wing Constitutionalist nut’. Go figure what that says about those who run these departments.

I’m not sure if someone should take it as a threat or not. I guess that depends on whether you welcome the Messiah’s government or not. As for me, I do welcome it ... thus it’s not a threat to me.

But, I suppose it certainly would be a threat to all those who don’t like that type of one-world government ... :-) ...

As I say in my tagline, I’m looking forward to that one-world government, and I’ll be one of the officials in it.

— — — — —

As far as the pronouns being capitalized ... I realize that’s a human convention, but one doesn’t have to be greatly concerned about it, as it’s not a Biblical injunction.

>> Libertarians will accuse a conservative who wants to gut the government by 99% of being a Statist tyrant if he opposes drugs, gay marriage and open borders.

Homosexual marriage is being forced on the citizens by law — which is contradictory to what a libertarian should stand for.

Abortion is the killing of human life — which is contradictory to what a libertarian should stand for.

Open boarders is simply an idiotic, Utopian fantasy. Libertarians that support this are idiots.

The War on Drugs is an industry that pays well for both dealers and enforcement. Neither the increased penetration of drugs into society, nor the existing “statist quo” is the way forward.

It’s not enough to say one is conservative since the classification alone doesn’t inherently preclude the force of govt.

You are certainly correct in saying that one who wants to gut the govt by 99% doesn’t deserve to be branded a Statist tyrant.

We don’t hear proposals from Libertarians that would ensure the well-being of minors. So, you’re concerns on this front are fully justified.

If you’re in favor of anti-drug laws, you’re in favor of this. There’s no two ways about it.

That is ridiculously asinine. That is too stupid to be believable.

Where does the federal government get the power? Where in the Constitution? Isn’t that the argument?

I would yes.

I made my position very clear.

FReepers who accuse others of something like that after they have clearly not said such a thing should be banned.

Yes.

About as much as you support child molestation.

If you think someone can’t oppose this and still be against drugs you are too stupid to breathe.

In the general case, I believe the answer to that question is “Yes”.

No, it’s perfectly logical. If you support criminalizing the possession of drugs you support the consequences. This childs blood is all over your hands.

Period.

"This baby’s blood is on the hands of all who support the war on some drugs."

Uh...that would be those who support the drug trade...

The sellers and users are the ones responsible for ALL the carnage that has happened in America and Mexico.!

And that, as everyone knows, would be the LIBERALS..!!

Put the blame where it truly belongs...and talk about it often....
