I took the Russian defense called Sambo (not the cartoon). That was really neat. Maybe Krav Maga is even better. You know that Jennifer Lopez used krav maga in her politicaly correct, whit man bashing film, "Enough," don't you?

Krav Maga is just the name given to the Israeli military's hand-to-hand techniques. It is thus oriented towards winning real-world fights for survival rather than scoring points in a tournament (or at least the version taught in the IDF is). The US military has its own hand to hand system as well.
