Remember Judith (?) Miller, that journalist who sat in jail for contempt for protecting a source (a leaker)?
But if the small-time players had to start paying a personal price for participating in an ‘obstruction’ case, then we’d get to the bottom of these situations quickly and our government would be better, more ethical. The “big fish” would be naked in the same way that Nixon was in the end.
