Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) late Monday criticized IRS Commissioner John Koskinen for claiming theres no evidence of criminal misconduct at the IRS over the targeting scandal, even though he hasnt bothered to examine the criminal code.
You have already said multiple times today that there was no evidence that you found of any criminal wrongdoing, Gowdy said. I want you to tell me what criminal statutes youve evaluated.

Inherent contempt. They refuse to fully utilize it. That is all on the GOP.
“It bothers me how Koskinen is not at all worried. Kind of like watching Michael testify in The Godfather. Like hes protected.”
Me too. I’m hoping the November elections ease some of our pain.
Vocabulary phrase of the day “Spoliation of evidence.’
Their running block is the tell.
So...where is the Special Prosecuter? Kabuki so far.
Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.)
It’s just water off a IRS Hack.
They are questioning these witnesses under oath so if evidence turns up (or they already have it and are saving it for the right moment), they can hang a charge of perjury over the witness's heads and see if that makes them more cooperative. Little by little they exploit the cracks in the administrations stonewall until the bring it all down.
After watching Trey Gowdy “question” John Koskinen, I thought of two John Wayne’s movie lines. “Sink Spurs” and “fill your hands, you SOB”.
Gowdy gets my ten votes for what ever post he wants!
Trey is pulling a Roddy Piper;
“About I’m here to kick ass and chew bubblegum and I’m all out of bubblegum”.
This is the GOP. they have a history of their supporters believing that such is the case only to then cave, choke and otherwise return the hammer of great and mighty justice to Home depot for a ‘partial’ refund rather than use it.
Since no investigation thusfar has done anything other than protect democrats from jail and act as a pressure relief valve for angry conservatives I have little faith in some cunning plan afoot.
Rowdy Roddy Piper! Yeah, that’s good.
Put the wood to ‘em ‘Rowdy Gowdy’!
I think we just dubbed him, GOYAKLA.
The guy is awesome and has the mental ability to adapt quickly on the fly, with no hesitation, when the IRS mope screwed up.
The IRS mope didn't have a chance.
Great!
I went to this site for what I thought was good”GYTE ROWDY

He reminds me of George Costanza’s boss-Kruger-I was waiting for him to pull out a flask.
I hope you’re onto something..I was wondering where he was going with the line of questioning but makes sense if they’re building a case based on spoliation of evidence. He clearly had Gollum spinning, go Gowdy!

Norm, settle your little conscience. They’ll turn up another Ross Perot for you to vote for so you don’t have to vote for Gowdy or Cruz, or whomever the hapless republican party puts up. Cuz a vote from the conscience of all you Lenharts means you won’t have to feel icky as they roll Hillary up to the podium to burn her hand on the bible in front of the Chief Justice.
And you’ll be able to self-righteously know in your pea-pickin’ heart that it was those OTHER people that elected Dear Hillary. Not lil’ brave Norm and his other enablers, no sir, they voted their conscience!
So settle down. You won’t have to vote for Obama ever again, like you (and the rest of you conscientious pharisees) did the last two elections
