I understand that this is a topic about which you desire to post many articles. Dupliate postings of these kinds of stories have occurred too many times in the recent past on FreeRepublic; so you are certainly not the first to get carried away on the subject.

You are, perhaps, convinced this was a racial attack. There is no evidence of that, yet. In fact, the evidence is to the contrary.

The report said Mosley stated he watched a movie with a baseball bat being used on someone else and wanted to try it.

According to the report Mosley’s family said he has serious mental problems.

I am just one FReeper, and my opinion is solely my own, but while fanning racial hatred is not your goal -- it is the most foreseeable consequence of barraging members and lurkers with this kind of "news." Nobody here would want FreeRepublic to be turned to that purpose.

Reporting on things isn’t fanning. I’m not running around hitting anyone or shooting anyone but sometimes if you mention stories like this- then you’re the bad guy. I find that interesting.
