It’s been sometime since I read “The Stand,” but I seem to remember one scenario when two really bad guys broke out of prison and were on the road somewhere in the Southwest, they encountered a broken down car and pulled over to see what they could steal. The driver of the broken down car staggered around the car. One of the bad guys, nicknamed “Poke,” shot the poor guy with his immense revolver and said “that dude’s been ‘Pokerized.’” Or words to that effect. IMHO, Stephen King peaked with “The Stand.”

That is what I thought when a famous writer makes a spelling error in an 18 word comment.

Offhand I can’t think of any “regulations” on cigs and alcohol thank don’t also apply to guns. In fact, guns are already the more regulatedf - you don’t have to fill out forms to buy a six of Bud and a pack of Marlboros.
