Absolutely! I absolutely agree!!!!
And in Georgia, you can have a cigarette vending machine in an adult establishment. Ergo, we should have handgun vending machines!
You can also buy a case of alcohol with no background check. Ergo, we should be able to buy 12 assault rifles with no background check!
So I heartily agree with Steven King!

I’ll never understand where he gets his liberal streak.
You can’t be liberal and write something like The Stand.

Yes, and minors NEVER get their hands on cigs or booze. And cigs and booze are NEVER abused. What an assclown. STFU and go write something.

What coincidence, Mr. King.
I was just thinking about how it’s time to prohibit the sale of violent or macabre fiction.
It’s for the children.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don’t think that booze or cigarettes have their own specific amendment in the Bill of Rights.

It's time to regulate writers and producers too.
We need a media czar to make sure they spew state-approved propaganda.

He almost got killed when a car hit him. Shouldn’t they be regulated?

Multiple gunshot wounds last night at Red Rocks.
That's terrible. People gather for some fine music, never expecting gunfire to be part of their experience. Who was playing? Englebert Humperdinck? Dolly Parton? Placido Domingo? Amy Grant?

King is perpetually “in recovery” from drug/alcohol addictions. So we don’t know exactly who he was on the day he wrote this.

There are approx 20k gun laws on the books now Mr. King. I would call that “regulation” even in your bazzaro world.

“Stephen King: Hey, isnt it time for guns to be regulated like booze and tobacco?”
I don’t seem to recall a Constitutional Amendment providing that the right to buy booze and tobacco shall not be infringed. Plus they did pass an amendment prohibiting booze and look how good that went!

Tell Mr. King “Hey, isn’t it time his First Amendment right to write, speak, think, and believe what he wants be regulated as well?”
Proving himself to be just another insufferable liberal douchebag.
He’s a good horror writer. He should stick to that, and stop messing with other peoples’ rights.

Sorry Stevie. Just like “a woman’s right to choose”, booze and tobacco are not covered in the U.S. Bill of Rights. THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS IS! Why don’t you try reading something other than your own books?! Back to your nap now!

LOL! You can also say, "just as soon as alcohol and tobacco have an amendment to the Constitution!" It can go something like this:
"A well streaming free market, being necessary to the economy of a free State, the right of the people to buy and keep alcohol and tobacco, shall not be infringed."

Weird huh? I was/am prepping myself to re-read The Stand unabridged version but man is the print small. LOL! The TV movie they tried to make of it didn’t do the story justice. Too bad king is, otherwise, a blithering didiot.
