I will say you do have a point ... Remembering N.C. history prior to the shot heard round the world ... N.C. tried to find a solution in the courts with then governor tryon but failed and starting shooting near Salisbury ... so there is a case for both though the most recent is Fort Sumter off the S.C. coast.
