I’m talking about Rand’s recent behavior....and the general behavior of his father, not about every position the old man took.

At the end of the day, Libertarians are not us. We do share many things. and we absolutely should work together on those things. But they are the and we are us. Never will the twain meet. And we should each be honest about who we are.
Nuts? Maybe if Bush had carefully listened to Paul in ‘03, the entire disastrous experience in Iraq and the equally disastrous Obama administration would never had happened. The second was a consequence of the first.
That doesn’t change the fact that Obama has done a HORRIBLE JOB with what he inherited. I blame Obama for that. Our future is less secure because of the horrible job Obama has done there.

I hope he doesn’t pull a Perot as a 3rd party candidate and put the demo in office. Truth is that he might pull more democrats if he did run as a 3rd party candidate. He seems to be running as a democrat.

Rand has lately been the equal opportunity insulter to everyone, every side, every group and now poor old Cheney. So, net-net, he’s gaining zero forward ground. He gains one and insults two.
How does that work?

Rand gave Obama as pass and attacked conservatives. He didn’t gain any ground with me. He lost ground “big-time” as Cheney would say.
It sucks because I think many may have, but we still collectively treat it like something other than what its actions prove it is.
No one wants to believe that when Adolf got his start, he was just a loudmouth idiot too. Same for Marx. but look where it led. And there are many more liberals with greater delusions of Godhood than the communists or Nazis ever had combined. The real ones not the forced kind.
