Investigation of IRS Targeting
Commissioner John Koskinen testified at a House Ways and Means Committee hearing on the investigation of the IRS' criteria to process applications of tax-exempt organizations.
You have spoken the truth, Truth. What is happening with all these investigations is we the people are being told the situation is hopeless; there’s nothing we can do.
I say we need to storm our Critters and tell them they WILL have Lerner and Holder arrested, or there will be consequences for the Critters. I don’t know if Senators or Reps can be recalled; I thought I read somewhere that they can’t. But we can make life so miserable for them that they might rather resign... Ben Nelson got booed at a pizza parlor shortly after the “Cornhusker Kickback”, which I’m sure helped convince him it was time to retire. We could hold protests. We can bombard their offices with every kind of communication known to man. Etc.
If we resign ourselves to this now, we’ve kissed freedom good-bye. Are we going to go out with a whimper?
You sound like you know what all this stuff means. Can you contact SOMEBODY in the House to let them know what they need to nail this guy on?
Writing something up for Paul Ryan now. He seemed the only one not to kiss up to that slimy bureaucrat.
Are you in Ryan’s district? If you’re not, they won’t accept anything from you.
Is Louie Gohmert part of this hearing? Could you write up something and get it passed on to Gohmert via somebody with access to his staff?
Or is there anybody here who has access to one of these Reps and could pass along some information?
Also, a question somebody should ask: When you said the emails could not be retrieved, had you been told by your IT people that there were no backups?
I can’t bring myself to listen to those DC slimes. My sky goes dark just having to see the idiots who are supposed to be keeping this country free and secure.
Another great question. They definitely should have been able to retrieve records for her at least back to January 2011, even using their BS excuses.
Yeah, I was just saying the Lerner chick was all bright eyed/bushytailed in her first appearances. Want to bet the next time we see her she seems more rode hard/hung up wet? In spite of her previous smuggishness she has to now be skeered krapless that the Kenyan is going to let her swing at the end of a rotten rope?
the ag investigation didn’t start until march 2012 but ways and means commitee chairman wrote to IRS TEN DAYS before lerners hard drive crashed who received the letter and did they contact her by email phone etc?
the head of irs is skipping over this important part of the timeline..it adds to possibility of manufactured crash...
BTTT
Let’s assume Lois Lerner’s computer hard drive DID crash and all the emails in her “in box” were lost. The fact of the matter is that every email you send goes “somewhere” and every email sent to you comes from somewhere, and the central servers in any organization will record any and all email sent to you and from you, even if you emailed yourself.
A damaged hard drive will mean maybe she lost Word Documents or Excel Files that were not backed up anywhere else. But emails are communications from one computer to another. If Lois Lerner’s In box was lost, then subpoena the servers across the networks that transmitted these emails. Subpoena the hard drives of other individuals she communicated with!
Those memos didn't phase the IRS. They were still aggressively going after conservative groups well into the 2012 election cycle. I think they will eventually be able to tell if an early attempt was made to sanitize emails.

I think we need a law that says that any excuse allowed for the government bureaucracy must also be allowable for average citizens. If the government cant be held responsible to backup critical computer files, then neither can businesses and taxpayers. Equal protection and due process.

Congressman introduces ‘The Dog Ate My Tax Return Act’

The word came from Stockmans office on Friday after a contentious hearing in Congress where the chief of the IRS said there was no apology due for the agencys loss of months worth of emails involving IRS agents and managers suspected of creating and managing a program for the persecution of conservative groups.
Taxpayers who do not produce documents for the Internal Revenue Service will be able to offer a variety of dubious excuses under legislation introduced by Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Texas) a week after the IRS offered an incredibly dubious excuse for its failure to turn documents over to House investigators, the announcement said.
The United States was founded on the belief government is subservient and accountable to the people. Taxpayers shouldnt be expected to follow laws the Obama administration refuses to follow themselves, said Stockman. Taxpayers should be allowed to offer the same flimsy, obviously made-up excuses the Obama administration uses.
