ISIS is just an irritant that will fade away if only Maliki will reform and allow Sunni leaders back into the fold of a united Iraq.

And America can help, but not very much.

So we're sending a very small group of elite US forces to train the “Iraqi” army.

While Iraq somehow gets its act together.

If this reality-ignoring scenario is really the consensus of our government elites as to what is transpiring in Iraq, we're doomed.

didn’t Bush already authorize the training of that army?
