And through it all, the powers tell us that prices aren’t rising. Their numbers say what they want.

My brain and my wallet says it’s much higher across the board.

Gas prices jumped here in Tulsa, OK, but usually we’re on lower end of the pricing scale in the USA ...

Zero inflation though.

Like Lois Lerner's emails, the bureaucracy can make anything what they want it to be.

Energy prices will skyrocket.

Shut up and eat your peas.

I will bankrupt coal companies and utilities.

Obama is doing exactly what he said he was going to do. And he will make himself, his business cronies, and any politicians who go along, a shitload of money in the process.

This is how totalitarian regimes come to power. Want to see our future, look to central and south america. THAT is our future.

They keep “printing” money (or electronically conjuring it up) to paper over 0bama’s massive deficits. They try to hide it in the bond and stock markets, but enough leaks out into circulation that inflation is inevitable.

To make matters worse, Senate lawmakers actually proposed legislation this week to raise the federal gas and diesel taxes by 12 cents per-gallon over the next two years.

Given the economic struggle of a lot of trucking companies a 12¢/ga. would probably kill everything except the big companies.

I drive a delivery truck. Yesterday morning I drove by a Kangaroo gas station. The advertised price was $3.44/gal. By noon it was $3.59, a whole 15 cent per gallon jump. Still better than other area stations (at $3.69 or so), but, WOW!, whatta’ jump! Thanks, obammy!

“Analysts warn the high prices for both food and gas are here to stay for a while.”

Let me guess....Obama term ends in 2016....so at least 2 more years?

Otherwise known as the big rat city, pol brother-in-law, union transit full employment act. Got to have a way "to go downtown to get paid".

I was at the supermarket, shopping for dinner. I tossed a couple of nice looking steaks in the cart, thinking it would be nice to grill. The two were $36.00, and they were not particularly large.

But, on the plus side, the alcohol/gasoline in my car is corrosive and clogs the fuel injectors in the Wintertime. So I have that going for me...

My employer ‘gifts’ us a grocery store Gift Card at Thanksgiving, supposedly to buy a Turkey for the family, and then one at Christmas for a Ham.

And while I LOVE both Turkey and Ham, I spend mine on rice, dry beans, peanut butter, medical supplies, etc.

Life. Is. Good. :)
