Too bad he wasn’t a guard at Stalins Gulag, liberals would have ran him for POTUS.

Yes, it happened. Yes, it was horrible. The guy is 89 years old. Just leave him alone. He cannot pay for the sins of a whole evil regime. Have him apologize for his part in the mess and be done with it.

There...I said it.

Eastern Europe in the 30’s and 40’s... every choice you had was a bad one.

He needs to be tried and hung before he dies of old age.
The message needs to be very clear for historians.

Mr. Breyer acknowledged two decades ago, when first questioned by the American authorities, that he had worked as a guard at Auschwitz, but he said that he did so “involuntarily” and that he had nothing to do with the gassings. His attorney, Dennis Boyle, insisted Wednesday that Mr. Breyer worked in a prison section of Auschwitz, not among those guards in the extermination area. “He was absolutely not one of those guards,” Mr. Boyle said.

This looks like the verge of a witch hunt. In the hell that was Nazi Germany, who wouldn't want to clamber up from the pits of Hitler's fury in almost any way they could, though short of committing murders themselves? It sounds very honorable to refuse out of principle, until you really are there.

It’s amazing how the bags of sh*t at the state department can manage to help roust one wrinkled old German dude out of a peaceful twilight but they couldn’t find it within their worthless bureaucratic wastes of skin to get a settlement out of the major Japanese corporations for using our soldiers and civilians for slave labor in the war...

These "nazi hunters" like the Simon Wiesenthal Center are a joke. They go after people who are too old and sick to defend themselves but do not prosecute an admitted-ADMITTED-A-D-M-I-T-T-E-D Nazi collaborator like George Soros.

I will take these clowns seriously when they call for the arrest, prosecution and execution of George Soros.

There might be some confusion about Auschwitz.

Auschwitz concentration camp was a *network* of concentration and extermination camps built and operated by the Third Reich in Polish areas annexed by Nazi Germany during World War II.

It consisted of Auschwitz I (the original camp), Auschwitz II–Birkenau (a combination concentration/extermination camp), Auschwitz III–Monowitz (a labor camp to staff an IG Farben factory), *and 45 satellite camps*.

Here is a map of many of the camps of Europe, to give an idea about the complexity of the Nazis schemes, though many more camps were too small to be shown on this map:

And the financiers who put the Nazis in power and planned WWII are today continuing to march the world towards new world order.

Prosecutions like this are a show for the sheeple.

And apparently a lot of the sheeple love the show.

And the sheeple have zero clue that the same people who run America today put Hitler in power.

And they have the US military guarding their opium fields in Afghanistan.

Man, are some of the sheeple dumb.

I like threads like this one. The FReeper responses run from from "Forget this. Leave the old guy alone; its been 70 years ago". to "Shoot the old (bleep) in the head. Now. He deserves to die."

Many Czechs were forced to serve in the German military. I would be very, very cautious about prosecuting a man who may have been a boy who could not refuse service without endangering himself AND all his family. This man may be evil, but he may be a man about to be punished for the second time, once by the invading Nazis and now by the current US and German governments.

What will putting an 89-year-old former prison guard on trial for the deaths of ALL those prisoners accomplish? He cannot possibly have killed them all, nor will his trial, and even death, atone for the sins the Nazis committed.

Forgive him and consider it a lesson learned for posterity.

Apparently our own government, however, has no problem hurtling again toward such totalitarianism and evil...only with different groups in charge and different groups being murdered/silenced. Lesson has NOT been learned.
