HOUSTON, Texas—State Representative Debbie Riddle (R-Tomball) told Breitbart Texas she spoke with Governor Rick Perry’s (R-TX) Office and they confirmed the surge to deal with the Texas border crisis is about to begin. Details are not available at this time, but Riddle said, “It is going to happen.”
Riddle spoke with Governor Perry’s office about the issue and was assured it “is going to be coming soon.” She said Governor Perry’s office is working very closely with Lt. Governor David Dewhurst’s office along with the office of House Speaker Joe Straus.
“They are gathering together everything they need to begin this right away,” Riddle said. She told Breitbart Texas that she could not divulge any information about exactly when, how long, and where the surge would be for reasons of operational security. She also could not disclose what the operational objectives would be at this time.
Riddle said, “We are going to feel this particularly here in the Houston area because of Houston’s role as a command and control center for the cartels--for both their drug and human trafficking operations.” She added that Texas Department of Public Safety Director (DPS) Steve McCraw told her last week that Houston is still the hub for these operations.
Riddle said, “Governor Perry is very angry that the feds are doing nothing about this problem.” She went on to say, “I didn’t expect the feds to do anything."(continued)

The people who opted not to vote in the 2012 presidential election who are bashing Perry are the ultimate hypocrites. If these 4 million had voted, we wouldn’t be in this crisis we’re in now. And please spare me the bullsh*t that Romney would be doing the same thing. He would not!

I’ll bet good money that Palin voted in the Presidential election. She saw who the real threat/enemy was.
I don’t blame the Mexican youths and children from coming here. Were I in their shoes I would do the same.
I blame our socialist welfare system for this immigration mess.
In the absence of easy money from our welfare system the people that would want to come here would be the sort of people we could actually use.
If the Mexican immigrants leaned even slightly republican the democrats would have the army on the border to shoot them down on sight.

I don’t see why Perry, Walker and Brewer have waited this long. We know how pathologically sick this regime is. Stop pretending to be surprised at just how LOW Obama is willing to go! Anyone who would authorize Fast and Furious would do anything to anybody. He is just warming up and will continue throwing monkey wrenches in the gears of our nation if there is no strong push back. Do wait for him to be ashamed or embarrassed. Shame is for Christians, Jews and a few others still ruled by morality and respect (not contempt) for their fellow man.
But the Perry faithful don't want to hear what a fraud Perry is. They still profess how conservative he is in spite of the fact that doing so requires they ignore his support of Hillarycare, ignore his support of financial aid and instate tuition for ILLEGAL aliens, ignore his calling real conservatives heartless, ignore his attempt to keep Ted Cruz out of Washington, ignore his endorsement of RINO Mitch McConnell and, ignore his praising of Hillary as a, “very, very capable public servant, great secretary of state, first lady”.
They want us to ignore it too. But as long as he's trying to get into the WH that's not going to happen.

I am neutral where Perry is concerned. I ask this honestly - what is Perry’s end game here?
I’ve been waiting for ANY Texas leadership to step up their game on this subject. Even Cruz....I realize he’s a “junior” Senator, but have been surprised he hasn’t addressed or even mentioned the subject at hand.
Some action is long overdue.
His Presidential aspirations not withstanding....he needs to act for his citizenry and for US citizens.
