Jesus Christ Did Not Believe In Tolerance & Peace, But The Punishment Of Evil Doers & Evil People

Jesus Christ did not believe in tolerance and peace, but the punishment of evil doers and evil people. I never accepted the modern perception of Christianity, as a sort of peace loving religion. Christ Himself said: Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. –Matthew 10:34 Christ is “The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.” (Psalm 24:8) The Divine Law strikes, and the heretics scatter, like wolves without a head. Now is the hour of darkness, now is the hour of the savages and their leader the wicked one, “given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them” (Revelation 13:7)

Yeah, go ahead and try to throttle grace... it will only blow up on you. Fear the Lord!

Turn the other cheek is an act of defiance.

The libs would have you believe it means to curl up in the fetal position and roll over to the other side.

So many Christians are willing to be led astray cause they want to sin and find heretical ministers to help them.

Being slapped on the cheek is not an attempt to injure or kill. It’s an insult.

I note that the Bible does not specify how you should respond when slapped on the other cheek.

If you read the entire article he says that we are still under the Law. We are not under the Law but under Grace. Jesus fullfiled the Law. The Law reveals and stimulates sin.
The author also calls for the death penalty for sodomites. That seems to belong more to Islam than to Christianity.

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.Matthew 10:34

I hate it when people take this verse out of context in order to further their own agenda of violence.

Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Jesus was sent to gather his flock. Nothing more, nothing less. In no way did he ever say we are to make war with our brothers.

The context is in HOW someone is slapped. With the back of the hand is meant as insult, from superior to inferior. To slap with the palm of the hand is amongst equals. Christ is directing people to not be thought of as inferiors, but to be as equals. Therefor the person doing the slapping, using the same hand MUST consider you their equal and deal with you as such.

“In no way did he ever say we are to make war with our brothers.”

True, but God’s word is clear what to do with unrepentant immoral “brothers”. They are to be expelled from the church, and should not create their own “churches” that tolerate their sin.

The Way of the Master can be boiled down to the hearts of whom He was dealing with.

If they were self-righteous or unrepentent, they got The Law.
If they were repentent and humble, they got Grace.

In what verse can this be found?

God will pour out His wrath on those who trouble us:

2Th 1:6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;
2Th 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
2Th 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
2Th 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
2Th 1:10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

It’s really not our job to do so, except in self-defense, or in a church discipline context.

Here’s an interesting passage too:
Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

These are souls under the very altar of heaven, pleading with God to pour out his wrath on those who killed them. No love, no forgiveness, just a plea for vengeance. And God doesn’t rebuke them in any way, but instead gives them white robes.

Beautifully said, thank you.

To my mind the only further clarification would be that the Law is itself Grace - but with repentance and humility, Mercy and Forgiveness is added to the Law. In effect, it becomes a higher Law.

So the Master was actually teaching that what we do determines the level of the Law we receive. Show mercy, receive mercy. Exult in mercilessness...

... well, the Master holds your hands and, with tears in His eyes, says, "you really, really don't want to go there..."

Jesus did not preach excusing sin, emptying the jails, and repealing the criminal law; but He did come to break the power of sin in the here-and-now and save souls for eternity.

Nope. All wrong. Calvin was right. We are sinners in the hands of an angry God.

Simple question. At what point are decent Christians allowed to hit back? Hard. Literally. Against anyone who is doing the “hitting”. Like in as everyday.
