HOUSTON, TexasGovernor Rick Perry (R-TX) appeared on Fox News Fox and Friends show and said Texas lacks the resources and manpower to secure the 1,200 mile Texas border with Mexico.
The comment sent shock waves through a Texas grassroots discussion thread on Facebook this morning of activists who are seeking a special session call from the Governor to deal with the issue of border security.

We don't have enough police to stop every theft from occurring either, but we don't throw up our hands and say "well, we can't stop them all, so we should just give up and do nothing." Yet that's exactly the reasoning, or rather excuse, that Perry and others use to do absolutely nothing about illegal immigration.
Well, first of all...I weighed in on this subject by responding to the post "National Guard".I never knew that a Texas *state* guard even existed until I saw it mentioned in this thread.
Second of all...I'd bet the clothes on my back that Osama Obama's Mini Me,Attorney Corporal Holder, could shut the State Guard down in about 30 seconds if they started "patrolling" the border.Mind you.I'm not saying that he'd have the *Constitutional authority* to do so...just that he'd be *able* to do so.
He is full of it another passive RINO.
Don’t let fear of what Holder might do control, he has no authority. The Governor of Texas is vested with the authority of the Texas Constitution.
“Secede”
ROTFLMAO! Texas politicians won’t even pass a law to allow open carry. Even “liberal” states like Delaware allow open carry.
So a state that can’t even wrap its arms around the idea of allowing its citizenry to open carry handguns or securing its own borders with its own forces is going to secede? Not a chance.

STOP THE INSANITY!
Flood the governor’s office and your rep’s offices with demands that something be done to secure our borders against the current massive invasion of illegal aliens!

The citizens of Arizona and Texas ought to round up these pitiful Latinos and take them to CA or NY or both.
Why yes, I did, and that was the point.
They were badly outnumbered but it didn’t deter them from trying to hold their ground.
Unlike Mr. Perry, who probably would have tried to cut a deal with Santa Anna...and end up dead for his efforts.
Rick Perry is right. They would need a minimum of one person for every quarter mile of a 1000 mile border 24/7/365.
What they need is a double fence with a no-mans land between absolutely infested with electronics and imagery devices and notification alarms....mountain, plain, desert, river, lake, you name it. TOTAL.
And then they can have a much smaller force.
It is insane to even talk with these people about ‘immigration’ until the border is locked down, the airports are controlled, the coasts and harbors are controlled, and visas are a fool-proof system.
Since the population of Puerto Rico is dropping, why don’t we “settle” the “kids” in some of the empty farms there.
Then, the costs of that settlement could be covered by reducing the “foreign aid” we supply to the Central American countries that are playing this evil trick on us now.
Finally, we might also ask our good friends, the Chinese, how much they would pay us to reduce their acute shortage of young un-married women. The young ladies we could send to them would REALLY be appreciated.
And we might even balance our trade deficit!
That’s true. And re renounced both. In both instances the Democrats lied to him. First about what they were, the second when they drove the knife in his back.
If I recall, The Reagan Dairaies gets into that issue...which now more than ever, people should be reading.
>>Borrow some of those armed drones from Homeland Security<<
Right? How bout some of those IED resistant MRAPS we’ve seen tootling down the road in our communities.
How bout the Texas rainy day fund?
Put the illegals to work making compressed stabilized earth blocks. Then build 2 wall 20’ apart and 20’ tall. Fill in the gap with tamped / rammed earth. Then put a 15’ fence on the Mexican side and add the occasional vehicle ramp up to the top of the wall on the US side.
Build that wall all the way from the Pacific to the Gulf of Mexico.
Soon our Open border will permit Jihadists to enter disguised as South Americans.
Already happening.
The link below is to a daily thread on TimeBomb2000, a member there compiles all the jihadi related info he can find, plus a few more other topics, but it’s mostly all jihad related. It’s amazing to see how much he finds every day. I will post a link to the first couple of items. His daily thread is a good resource and he is finishing a book about the dangers and truth of Islam.

BORDER PATROL AGENT SOUNDS ALARM
The amount of criminals, murderers and terrorists entering the U.S. right now is overwhelming. We cant stop it. National security is completely compromised.

Of course they see it. Either they want it to happen or they think they will be insulated from it. Bastards, all of them.
“If I, nothing but a broke-d*ck working stiff, can see this, why can’t our politicos, or maybe they do, but because of cowardice, they don’t want to do anything to stem it?”
Of course the kakistocrats see it. Unfortunately for us, the uniparty is pretty much of a consensus that amnesty is the way to go. Native born Americans aren’t pliant enough for their tastes.
Yup. There are volunteers all over America who’d be happy to do this.
