"Celebrate Pride Month with the St. Ignatius Community!"
St. Ignatius of a Sissy
I just read an article on the influence of Freemasonry in the California New Age movement, and other mystical movements, now moved eastward into churches. I have no idea what the Masons practice are, but the basics are said to be manifested in, now, churches.
Did they include pedophiles, bestiality and incest in the happy occasion?
Si, El Guapo.
Of a sissy! Grooooooan
As best I have seen, they have a kind of theological philosophy that is based around the idea of “God as architect of the universe.”
Clearly without something that can hold it to code, there is room for lots of mischief!
evil hasn’t escaped the bishops either....
Freep-mail me to get on or off my pro-life and Catholic List:
Please ping me to note-worthy Pro-Life or Catholic threads, or other threads of general interest.
You’d think that some pope... even Francis... would get scent of this and say what the sam hill are you presuming to do in Christ’s name, cut it OUT, Christ is for the OPPOSITE of this!
I don’t even know what to say about this. I suppose if this happened at my parish I would be compelled to throw eggs at the whole thing. That would be pretty much the end of whatever charity I could possibly muster.
You kind of get the idea why the Protestants protested....
this is posted directly on the baltimore archdioceses’ web site. they are promoting it. the bishop is not opposed to it. it is his site and this is not a minor event he wouldn’t know was on there.
“Someone needs to be excommunicated.”
I’d be willing to bring back burning at the stake, if that’s what it took to get their attention.
“You kind of get the idea why the Protestants protested....”
Road apples. In this current minuet through the gates of Hell, the Protestants are well ahead of the Church.
You assume they all hang together under one hierarchy. To whom much is given much is required. Rome looks, Rome acts like the three monkeys, retribution cometh.
Apostasy writ large. Satan’s realm is expanding.
Well, Protestants now have married gay bishops!
And other Protestants protest against gay pride... when will this “collusion” of Protestants make up their minds? Well there is no such “collusion.” They do not hang together under a single earthly hierarchy unlike Rome. Rome needs to be using its resources to at least stop such egregious abuses. It isn’t.
The Catholic Catechism is clear on homosexual conduct. It is an intrinsically disordered evil.
Here’s what Catholic Catechism Paragraph 2357 states:
Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.” They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.
