The climate change crusaders, who have been at it for a quarter-century, appear to be going clinically mad. Start with the rhetorical monotony and worship of authority (97 percent of all scientists agree!), add the Salem witch trial-style intimidation and persecution of dissenters, and the categorical demand that debate about science or policy is over because the matter is settled, and you have the profile of a cult-like sectarianism that has descended into paranoia and reflexive bullying. Never mind the scattered and not fully suppressed findings of climate scientists that the narrative of catastrophic global warming is overstated, like nearly every previous predicted environmental apocalypse. It matters not. The recent crescendo of scary government climate reports and dutiful media alarm has paved the way for the Obama administration to throw its weight around in ways that would make Woodrow Wilson blush.

I believe I read recently that the Prime Minister of Australia is forming a group to fight back against these “Anthropogenic Global Warming” nuts ...
I had to turn my heat back on in summer for the first time in 33 years! Where is global warming when your ready to go boating????
OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the suns planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
This is a little early.
The Climateers won’t get into full swing ‘til mid July.
not yet but they are at QUATRE BRAS and LIGNY. today is 16JUNE. those who study military history will understand.
Ironic, isn’t it? The Climate Wackos are the real Flat- Earthers.
I have my own prediction about July here in central Illinois, it's gonna be hot and muggy, just like every July I've experienced in my almost 69 years on earth.
I did see it snow once on my b/day - June 29, however, I was in the Colorado Rockies at the time - definitely climate change!
i am still waiting for any real evidence that the world is warming? can they at least name all of the countries that are so hot that their populations are moving to the nearest continent?
I’ve seen this said before, and I agree...
When the east and west coast liberals start dumping their oceanfront and coastal property in anticipation of the rising seas from global warming, then I’ll believe that they believe the hype they’re spewing.
Seems like they are ramping it up already. AMC is currently showing The Day After Tomorrow for what seems like the 15th time this year. On FX Movie Channel they are showing Big Miracle which is some movie about three whales stuck in the ice in Alaska.
Decades ago, a few men interested in security matters knew that nations would be fighting over oil and other natural resources. They put the scare to influential coastal constituents about their real estate becoming ocean. That’s what lit up politics about the issue. Those constituents shove, traditional energy interests push back. Meanwhile, the investor herds stampede into crazy commodities and scheme for higher prices and fatter returns.
Evil.
Thus, the flood of weird stuff from sponsored media. All sides spew paid insanities, while we head for some magnificent cold fluctuations. And we’ve seen nothing, yet. Give it about 3-6 years.
Plus more volcanism, earthquakes and all kinds of fun added to the mix for drought trends (slower evaporation with slower condensation, weather pattern areas shifting and so forth). Isn’t it wonderful?
Sure, just in time for the “dog days of summer”, normally referred to as August. Well, and part of July.
Highs both days around 61 degrees, and around 50 in the morning.
In March and April they predicted a monster El Nino, which means West Coast temperatures, especially in the Northwest, should be much higher than normal.
We had two brief heat waves in the Spring, like 85-88, but low humidity, so it wasn't bad at all, and lasted just a few days.
For the last month, we've been at normal or below normal temps.
I knew something was up a couple weeks ago.
A long range forecaster at a televised conference on C-SPAN said, "Whoops, the super high temperatures on the West Coast will come in 2015, not in 2014."
These guys NEVER give up!
Ha. Good one.
Waterloo, the next day, was a very, very close fight.
Napoleon was brilliant. He almost succeeded in his effort to split the defenders and take out the British army.
